If you guys really want SC to go back to the way it was, then you have to do something drastic. Not just voicing your opinion on the forum, it doesn't work to your expectation. You have to do something big, petition doesn't help. Like send cupcakes to the devs, lol, for those Mass Effect fans, make sure everyone doesn't buy the SC game, which is going around the world and tell EVERYONE to don't buy the game and any other dramatic things that you guys should do. If not, well, you can say no to buying SC games.

And Double Agent actually have STEALTH and it works.

I know there is not going to be a return to Legacy play, but they do need to incorporate much.more from the old games as well as adding new stealth elements in order for us to be happy.

Also, SvsM needs to rock and be more PT/CT than double agent, but I'm gonna hold my breath as they will probably screw that up as well.

I believe that we will get what alot of people have said. Blacklist will be a chaos theory + conviction. Its not really what I want from a series that had artwork on the face of the box of the first game that one could have looked at, not knowing anything about Splinter Cell and could guess that it was a stealth game. Monetarily I suppose they are making a good move, but philosophically......why would you cater a stealth game to action fans or even a little bit. Philosophically there is no need to make a game where the stealth fans can enjoy it their way and the action fans can enjoy it their way. Splinter Cell is NOT an action game. But still I try to remain optimistic, Sam's back in his stealth suit, the black and white is gone so IF there are times where he is hiding in the shadows the game CAN be beautiful again. Like the rest of the folks in the Splinter Cell world, I wait.

u either take a leap of faith, or u dont.

i hope they will show more stealth gameplay (AND NIGHT MISSIONS, and even better... the ability to MOD, create new maps and missions) so that the hardcore Splinter Cell fans will have a reason to buy this, and not feel like this is just the solo version of GRFS.

What we need an editor to create levels, not only for the Spy vs. Merc but also to the Co-op mode and the Deniable Ops. The editor should include not only building but also the deployment of npc around the board as we want.
Certainly, editor map would give SC:Blacklist immortality.

I was waiting for an editor to Chaos Theory Coop mode and never lived to see him, maybe this time will make an exception?

If you're looking something special from Splinter Cell videos, (last my project was called Tactical Espionage from Chaos Theory - advanced ghost style), visit my fansite channel at this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaruto7?feature=mhee

Our ideas should serve as an inspiration for Ubisoft Torronto with new and innovative features in the right direction for Blacklist: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-in-Blacklist

We need a purist mode similar to what Hitman: Absolution have, but with our rules: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...40#post8582940

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...list-Checklist Please support the checklist and hopefully Ubisoft will see the massive amounts of people who want to see certain, key features implemented.

Ubisoft... please add in a true variable speed system with an integrated sound system and if you have the time...other abilities, gadgets, and things from the first SC games such as split jump, etc.

It's not that. They may make everything more fluid and so on. Solve the trial&error gameplay and improve the weapon mechanics a bit, but they should always stay true to the Splinter Cell principals.

"Like a sliver of glass, a Splinter Cell is small, sharp, and nearly invisible."

Your keyword is MAY. Given the history of UBI, well, what can you expect. Everyone can wish SC will be SC again but the devs don't deliver it, well, that's where you do drastic things. Or you can take over UBI and force them to go back to the way it is.

MAY is not the problem. They could have done a lot of changes from SCC but still stay true to the SC principals.

exactly. They could have added things like better shoot mechanics and mark and execute to the basic premise of Chaos Theory, but they chose to go a different direction. Ubisoft has a right to change how their games play, but I have a right to be unhappy about it and I have the right to not buy it.

Like I said before, I will wait and see, but they were feeding be the same BS with conviction, about how you had the freedom to play the game anyway you wanted, but the game was designed for action. Trying to play in a ghost style really went against the grain and you could tell they didn't design it with ghost players in mind. It was like playing Chaos Theory as an action game. Sure you could do it, but it wasn't very satisfying, and you could tell the game wasn't designed for it.

After almost three years of people wanting them to give us a more stealth orientated experience (in a stealth game mind you), how do they alleviate our fears? They give us a balls to the wall action demo. Glad to know that Ubi is think about us legacy fans. I get that they wanted to standout at E3, but how does having showing an action demo, complete with Michael Bay action and airstrikes, make their game stand out when almost every other game there is doing the same thing? They could have at least showed a second demo showing the stealth to just the press and then.release that video on the web. Instead we get more.promises of "soon." Much like Jade promised us news of splinter cell "soon" back in October.

Talk is cheap Ubi. It's time to show.

Yeh, they could have but they didn't.
