Hey people!
I got the chance to play the closed beta last night, and I decided to make a video of what I thought!

Thanks for the vid.
I want do give you some of my thoughts about one scene.
I like the way you try to stay cool at around 10:20 when the dude came up the stairs and at the same time in a hurry to shoot and hesitating to aim.
That scene shows very well how the human vision works. You see moving targets much better that non-moving ones. Thats the reason why the enemy panicked so fast after the first few shots and the reason the enemy havent seen you because he was on the move for himself.
Never the less, you took 4 hits to kill him, fired 12.
You can improve that ratio if you like.
First shots where good, straight forward, because he havent panicked yet.
The rest missed hardly for two reasons, enemy panicked and changed movement.
Your aiming wasnt carefull enough.
My advice for you, because i learnd it for myself the same way:
Try to do a point shot as double-tap or hammer and force yourself to watch the enemys reaction.
Then you can decide weather to take your time to aim carefully and make the maximum amount out of every bullet or try to hammer him down.
You could also do this aimed.
When i face such situations myself its often like: spotting enemy close -> check ammo primary(if unsure about) -> empty/very low: switch secondary -> point shots: tap tap -> wait for first response about 0.5-1sec and at the same time rearranging my aiming: if hes responding with accurate fire or turning his front towards me i immediately keep hammering, if hes keep moving or changing movement direction i will aim down my sight and continue with DTs or hammers and loop the whole procedure for my secondary until contact breaks, out of ammo or i got a realy good spot to retreat to/get cover from.
I find it this way to make the most out of each of my bullets with a good response time and fairly enough aimed shots.
Why am i telling you this?
You know it when you face two enemys close only armed with a pistol in your hands, one killed and an empty magazine.![]()

Thanks! I'll go over the game in much more detail with the full release, but this was just supposed to be a quick snapshot of the beta
Wow thanks mate! I'm keen to keep playing this game, so i'll keep all this in mind- thinking about consequence, and keep my cool when in tense situations!
Melee kills for the win (which could have been possible in this case)!
Melee kills are best used in combination with the following match chat message: "Oh snap!" (without quotes).

You have one problem with melee kills in that kind of situation.
If you are prone in cover and pointing away from the cover and not above/beside it, you character is most likely to do a dolphine doge. At least when you use the hold-button-for-cover.
So would lay on the belly just infront of him, fisting his legs.![]()

Break his feet, so he can't walk away. I don't think there is any difference in hitting the head or other body parts.
He also had cloak. It makes noise, but in this case, I don't think it would matter that much.

Direct hits to the legs and arms deal less damage then hits to the body afaik.(Not sure about this.)
Also the what side you hit matters, hits to the back deal more damage then hit to chest from the front.(That i know for sure.)
Should be tested out! :P

You get bonus damage for headshots and reduced damage for limb shots. You also get bonus melee damage for hitting someone in the back.
