    Ubi_antoine;need ur honest answers

    hello;
i am extremely upset with ghost recon future soldier team.so far we haven't seen a single PC gameplay footage.which continuously pointing at some serious issue in pc versions.its looking like pc versions may experience some serious lags or loads of glitches.thats why ubisoft is not releasing the pc gameplay footage n being forced to delay the release again n again.if the xp patch was the real issue then how come thats releasing 3weeks after the scheduled pc release?it doesnt make any sense.so as per our right to information we need to know whats going on?your gunsmith free mode isnt working either.is the pc version actually releasing on 26th(US) n 28th(EUROPE)?the continuous delays n no information doesnt look promising.i would like to request u to b honest.coz u also know that we r not buying ur logics.

the game was supposed to b released in 2010 summer.but u delayed it saying it needs minor tweaking to enhance gameplay experience.does minor tweaking takes 2years?NEVER.then either u have incompetent game developers;who took 2years to perform these minor tweaking.or u announced the 2010 release date as a cheap marketing strategy;n desperately tried to keep the hype alive by ur 'installment delay' tactics.n tried to encash the gamers' emotion.u knew that u cant get this game ready by 2010 summer.but u still announced it.just to encash the hype.then u delayed it to december 2010.n m pretty sure that u knew that u cant get it ready by then.coz a 6months work may face another 2-3months delay.its rare bt possible.bt another 18months delay is not possible.n we saw atleast 7-8 delays since summer 2010.so this says u were not completely honest to the gamers.so how can we trust you this time?specially when we can clearly see that console gamers r losing their stats n facing many more problems.n u r still playing that old cliched non-information n delay tactics.give us a reason;why should we trust u THIS TIME?

i need an answer.rather we all need an answer.

    Protip: Research before you post.

They didn't delay the PC version in 2010, they took the entire game back to the drawing board because it had a poor reception.
So far there's only been one delay of two weeks.

    Regards,
    Nexo

Yes but it still had a scheduled release date, it doesn't matter what the cause of the problem is, it's still delayed.

(It's hard to find another source with the release date, as the websites update their info regularly)

Yes, and I just explained why every format was delayed, not just PC.
Besides, it was more than a few "minor tweaks", they had to completely overhaul the game.

Those are rough time lines, which any gamer worth their salt knows not to get excited about.
Were any of those specific dates like June 15th 2012? No. So as far as I can tell, there's only been one true "delay" as such.

"They didn't delay the PC version in 2010"

You're not explaining it very clearly when both your posts contradict each other. Was the PC version delayed or not?

Sorry, the term is kind of vague, so I slipped up a bit.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is it's unfair to complain about delays, since they had to essentially redesign the whole game.
It'd be like having a company cancel a product, then release a new one two years later and complaining at them for the "delay".

The OP's main post was complaining that the PC version is being delayed "again and again".
I just don't find this fair considering there's only been one delay from the first official release date, June 15th.

Furthermore he then goes on to complain about it taking 2 years for "minor tweaking" and that they kept using "installment delay tactics".
Of course, everyone knows this "tweaking" was redesigning the game. Obviously the release dates are all going to get messed up.

    Regards,
    Nexo

Ah that's okay, I just found it slightly annoying how you pointed it out to me in a slightly degrading manner.

But yeah I agree, when the game got scrapped and went through a rebuild, people need to understand the game is going to be delayed. All they can do is give a rough estimate, if that estimate is wrong they just have to estimate again, better than releasing the game unfinished.
