I don't understand why this could be considered a real issue.

Besides, story-wise, what are the chances that a female would be in that particular ghost team? Women are pretty rare in the GR series as is, so chances are, she won't be in the one we play.

They're not actually all that rare per the literature. IIRC, it's traditionally one or two female Ghosts in a group of 16, and this would theoretically be for multiplayer, which is about as storyline realistic as a seasame bagel is a sweet.

Any guy would understand that he wouldn't want his girlfriend, wife, or daughter going to war or battle when a man is more than capable of doing it.

You usually "sign up" for the military. Men and Women volunteer to fight the battles that I'm too weak and scared to. I have no problem with that, but I wish that more military shooters (realistic or not) would include both genders. Gender doesn't matter, skill does.

I don't like skimpy o.o This is a soldier, not a stripper. I just prefer playing as a female character. Ugly or not, it's my preference. And maybe it'll wash the taste of that terrible ad out of ubisoft's mouth.

Only for multiplayer, It would be cool for them to actually add more to the story through DLC (Sort of an ongoing story that keeps getting bigger and bigger.)

Women have been in combat but are in no country in the world permitted on elite special forces and thats what the ghost team and bodarks are.

Now this is where I have to point out ******edness.

Go look up the Israeli defence force.
ALL positions in their armed forces are open to women (provided they meet the requirements). So there are female soldiers AND special forces.
Granted their situation is unique (Surrounded by people who want to kill them) but it is still worth mentioning.

Why not add Latinos or Native Americans or Asians or half black half Native Americans with mohawks. Honestly why does it matter they're meaningless skins.
