Hello,

I have a crashing problem. Every time the game tries to autosave, I save manually or I enter the port (-->tries to autosave) the game just crashes. The save-file is ok so I can continue playing from where the game crashed, but the word frustrating is not strong enough to describe this. I need to start the game again every 15-30 minutes and starting SH5 is not an fast operation... Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

There is a setting in SH5 to have it do a save to your computer. I think this option is in the upper right. I don't play SH5 but I remember some people having trouble with saves and there is a setting to change how a save is done. Not sure if this will fix this problem or not.

There may be an issue with the online save synch that the game is trying to launch and save from. Turning the online save synch off may fix your problem as Yooperbacker was suggesting. When you are at the opening launcher screen you should see a Settings option in the upper right hand corner. When you open this you will see an option to disable the online saving ability.

Hello!

That might be the problem indeed. However, I can find settings option anywhere. The only settings I can find are in the main menu and there you can only choose realism, graphics and sound settings. The autolauncher does not have any settings option either. When I try to go to uplay from the main menu, it first says the username etc is invalid and asks me to refill them. When I do that, it says: "Online key provided is invalid." and returns automatically to the game main menu. Where could I find the general settings about online saving etc? Thanks!
