SPlinter Cell Chaos theory wont run!!!

So I got CT today and Installed it, When I began the installation my PC notified me that the product is known to have problems on my version of windows (windows 7). I continued anyway. When I tried to launch the game it gave me an error. "this application can be launched with a release version of Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.1/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP Server 2003 only." Here are some basic specs of my Laptop

OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
    Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
    OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
    System Manufacturer Alienware
    System Model M18xR1
    System Type x64-based PC
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2860QM CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
    BIOS Version/Date Alienware A05, 11/29/2011
    SMBIOS Version 2.7
    Windows Directory C:\Windows
    System Directory C:\Windows\system32

    hope that is enough information.
    Thanks

I have exact same problem. I am running Win 7 on a partition of a 2009 iMac 10. All my other SC games play fine. CT played fine on a eMachine I previously had. Will watch this thread for a response. Good luck!

I bought the disk version of CT from Newegg a year ago and I've played through it twice. Maybe you got an older version that doesn't have the Starforce copy-protection scheme disabled.
