ACR server down ?? | Forums

Just purchased the game second hand no uplay passport, fair enough.
So I purchased 1000ms points to buy the uplay passport for ACR,
Now I'm getting the message the server is down, so I thought pfft just my luck,
Was looking for a reason why online only to find everybody is having this problem.
I have now been trying to log in for the past 1/2 hour.
What is going on ? I have practically spet £30 on a second hand game for online....
Which doesn't even bloody work.....are you guys at ubiquitous sorting it !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

no, they're not. I think this is the third day this week alone they are having this problem. I'm so sorry you had to find out this way. It's the same message I've been preaching everywhere for a LONG time, that if Ubisoft wants to treat multiplayer as a premium service, they **** well better be prepared to commit to it better than they have. I've been trying to get folks to commit to not buying AC3, but everyone is foaming at the mouth so hard they won't listen and just get raped in the same way yet again. As long as we don't force them to, Ubi is going to take absolutely NO action whatsoever to fix it. I wish they'd prove me wrong, because I think both the SP and MP aspects are great, but they just aren't acting in a way that tells us they WANT us to buy their stuff.

I agree with the last part, Ubi isn't acting like they want us buying their stuff. The quality of service is absolute garbage. But I don't agree with boycotting sales. I mean people are better off buying the game playing as much as possible and sacrificing a few days of service than not buying it at all. Also ever if you get 100s of people not buying it. Ubi will only feel a pinch.

If I could get folks to actually commit to it, then instead of experiencing part of the game like ubi is wont to do, we could all eventually actually play the whole thing without grief :idea:

I mean, think about what you're saying here. Would you buy a car if you knew it would only crank 20 days of the month? Would you buy a freezer if it just made really cold water?

Just a little update here guys brotherhood servers.....f*****g fantastic just no players.......as most traded it in for rev!!!! Priorities !!!!!!

ACB servers somehow still work EVERY time ACR servers go down...sadly, though, we only have one copy of ACB, and my wife and I both play. Perhaps we should go back to ACB, no uplay pass on that game anyway.

How are people 'better off' buying AC3 and putting up with more garbage from Ubisoft better than not buying the game and not putting money into Ubi's pockets for doing the same thing to customers they did with ACB and then ACR you mean you'll actually bend over a 3rd time? that's crazy man. We've got to as a global force of gamers put our collcetive feet down and say enough is enough.. we wont be ripped off for partly working products and then given no service whatsover. I'll say it again, the only reason companies like this keep doing things like this over and over... is because NO-one will do anything about it, we moan and gripe a bit but I'm sure most will go straight out and pay full whack for AC3 which the MP will be broken, the last 2 were and Ubi never fixed them... Now they have a new system with even more untested crap to go wrong... So by all means help rip yourself off

Anyone else notice the servers went back down right at 12:00 am EST tonight? What the hell??? I don't think I'm going to bother getting AC3 until I find a cheaper used copy, doesn't really seem worth it to shell out $60 when half (MP) the game rarely works.
