    Question Is Rainbow Six Dead?

I hate to be the one to start new topics but let's get some info straight here. First, the original design team wanted a 2013 release. Recently announced Splinter Cell Blacklist is going for 2013 release as well. But we have some information on SC, and absolutely no hard gameplay of Patriots. I know Sear's vision was supposedly still intact but I'm curious as to why we have nothing at all....

Changing Teams + Channing Vision + Change Cycle Like SCC/GRFS = a Totally Different Game.
Release Date 2014, Probably on Next Gen too.
    To be shown at E3-2013.

I think Rainbow Six: Patriots will be shown at E3 2014 and released 2015.

    Yes. Its Rainbow 6 now.

Now onto being serious, my expectations plummetted when I saw that there were a lot of drops from the project when I read about it in Game Informer. I really liked the idea of what was first presented, and now I doubt its going to be there at all.

A shame. I was disappointed in Vegas, never liked it, but I thought 6 looked really good. Been playing since at least Rogue Spear.

I hope the series gets a better vision for the future, and just some plain better technicians, because if Vegas is the future, which IMO was very clunky and poorly executed (two games I have no regrets for buying used), then I don't think 6 will be even a bargain bin $3 game that you buy for the lolz. Hell, you can at least do that for Duke Nukem Forever.

Nope that is so far away in my opinion, it seems that Ubisoft is making a strategy of one Clancy title every year, GRFS in 2012, SCB in 2013, R6P in 2014.
or maybe that's what I hope

Many people were heart broken by the removal of Sears and the top guys, they knew what they were doing IMO, and Sears had a great vision, now I am sure when it surface again it will be totally different, just like GRFS.

See I hate to drag the Sears thing up again but hey the forums are completely dead anyway. There's been complaints that Sears wasn't qualified or whatever else, but what struck me the hardest was that he had two things going for him: passion and a vision. And honestly, I think that's something that a lot of current day developers lack.

Next Gen, don't think so.. they are already taking pre-orders on the (exemple) 360. The worst it will be like LoZ:Twilight princess, they will have to make it for 2 gen consoles.

I don't think any R6 were screwed up, besides Lockdown. They have modernized the game without touching too much to the basic essence of it.

On the dying question I would also ask: Are the Ubi team working on it dead? No news, no hints no nothing. They know it's one of their big, important games. And that we are all going crazy with what's gonna happen or happening as we speak...
