The single player and co-op are definitely worth some money. I wasn't a huge fan of the button-mashing sequences in single player though.

There's also MANY hours of fun to be had playing multiplayer. I kinda lost interest once I unlocked and tried all the weapons/kits/gear.

Completely understandable. Try to borrow a friends copy someday and let us know how you feel about it if you do. It's worth a shot at least.

If I can get my hands on a free copy to try, I definitely will. Why have they not released a demo? There was a Battlefield 2 demo! I asked on some forum once, and I was told I should have applied for the beta if I wanted to try out Battlefield 3.

LMAO, that's a perfect example of what the term "beta" has become. So many sheeple out there think that betas are just an opportunity for them to play a game before it's released, and they think they're so awesome for getting to play it. A true beta (like in GRO's case) is not a demo, or a trial, it's an actual development build with bugs and errors that need to be identified and fixed.

I really wish other developers would stop throwing the term "beta" around so loosely.

Gun Master. Note the processor drops result in frame rates < 20 and back up to 60. I play much better when not streaming.
