    Question from a perspective buyer

I really like the ruse type gameplay, but I was hoping that there was a way to slow the action down more. I love the idea of commanding a battle of an entire region and how the game plays out, but IMO it's a little fast and doesn't look real to me (even though the graphics are very well done) because everyone is sprinting at such high speeds and tanks are crossing farm areas at what looks like 150 + MPH. Although I understand this was done for a reason, I wanted to know if there is any thing like the sliders I have found in other RTS games that slow down production/income/movement/attacking speeds? I'd really love to lose an afternoon playing out a huge battle in 1:1 ratio time and being able to personally overwatch the action as it took place instead of constantly scrambling around the fully pulled back views.

If you want to be respected, fight fair. If you want to win, do what is necessary.

I guess there is no way to slow down the gameplay. But in my opinion the gameplay isn't that fast. With a command rate of about 10-15 per minute you are doing good and I think that is not that much for a game. If you zoom in and out a lot you can manage the speed quite well. Zooming out gives you a full overview, and zooming in gives the ability to micro you troops. I don't see the problem then?

No force is great enough to overpower the speed of adjustment.

Also, you do not want the action too slow, otherwise you will not feel the adrelane rush or the fear as an attack is comming towards your unprepaired position. Or as you get better. you will want the game ot move faster so you can blitz and overrun your unprepaired enemy. If your units are moving too fast for you, just take a nation with slow units, LOL. Really, nothing will make you wish for speed faster then your units being overun as you try to escape.
THe ideal is that you are a little stressed and a person that can learn to multi-task will get an advantage over someone who is to focused on just one front. Those sneak flank attacks can be Heck!. I use the game to help me be faster as mult-tasking a get my brain use to doing many things at the same time under duress. It it kind of justifies an old guy like me playing computer game. LOL.

yeah, gameplay is very fast indeed. I defeated AI hard with 13:00 mins and some battles take me nearly 100 mins and I havent gained any ground over my enemy yet (
