Let's forget gameplay for a minute; one of the main reasons I liked Chaos theory and Conviction was because of the music and the ambiance. It just added so much more depth to the game, and I loved how every level had it's own unique track that correlated to the environment. I really hope Amon Tobin is working on this game too.
It added depth? If that's the reason you liked the game, why didn't you just download the soundtrack?

I agree, Amon Tobin was one of the puzzle pieces that made Chaos Theory perfect. It added to the eeriness of the shadows and kept your heart rate slightly above normal.
I feel like the ambiance and tension of the first game was the best. Amon tobin is definitely killer though

This and the Silent Hill 2 sound track are my favorites from a video game.
That bank stage theme song was sooo amazing!
And that OST from Double Agent is wayy too cool with the acoustic guitar...
