Multi-player - 2 teams - 1 Island - Fight to conquer the territory and dominate
I have been thinking about this as ubitims seemed to have said there is a Blood Fued between 2 factions in multi-player.....
Ubi-soft Massive are known for their RTS games also aswell as FPS....
Now from these 2 snippets of infomation I pieced together in my mind a game within a game..... Let me outline it a bit better for you...
I wondered about the end of match humiliation or set them free... It's unusual and must be a reason for this punish or set-free and advantages or disadvantages to this action within the second game of conquering an Island. Not sure what it is but there is the first piece of evidence to back this theory up.
I think 5 maps make an Island one in the middle which is a start point each team posses 2 either in the west or the east as held territories. The 4 others maps are located at NE / SE / SW and NW points on a compass (think the face of a 5 on a six sided dice this makes up 5 maps to play on with a filled in plan view incorporating the map into a plan view filling in the gaps).... Out of the 5 maps that are in rotation a team when it is their turn will vote to conquer a territory directly next to a territory they hold. The center map is the lychpin to conquering the remaining 2 territorys that the opposite team hold from the start.
Teams will have a total amount of spawns (forces at their disposal) each player on a team can chose to put a set amount of player spawns to either defend or position to attack a territory. Spawns left over from any match will be carried over to the next round.
From any point on the plan view map there will always be a choice of 2 territories to attack until the opposing force is only left with one territory they are guarding
When a team wins a match they have the first choice for which territory to attack this choice of which territory to attack will only be given to a winning side via a vote system.for that team the highest scoring player choice wins in a draw vote
An attacking team cannot see how well a territory is guarded...
A team being attacked will have to place their troops (spawns) without knowing which territory will be attacked also
Do you think that there is a mode like this in multi-player? Would you like to see a mode like this?
I have brainstormed it and this is a wild guess at what they are planning and I could be completley wrong but I think there is somthing like this....
I am assuming that Domination and firestorm are perhaps also decided upon whether they want to burn an enemy out or simply capture a territory?
Custom maps can be put into rotation in any of the 5 slots giving you a new island to conquer..., (the plan view generates and fills in the gaps)
Anyway your thoughts on this.....

I wanted to bump this to see if anyone has any thoughts but thinking again about this as a possible thing or a wild guess at what the multi-player structure is.... If this mode were in I think the focus should be team deathmatch only with no other modes as the overall objective is to conquer an island...
Very easy game mode to implement also... For the longer objective driven team game although the objectives would be outside the team deathmatch game with limited spawns and a user interface like a board game with voting and spawn placement / allocation
