toymachinesh, I misunderstood. I thought that was you in the videos. I was about to tell you that you move your fingers way too far off the fretboard for fast riffs, but that's the person in the video. :^) That's likely why he's missing a lot of those riffs that require him to move up and down the neck quickly...
Regardless, thanks for the video on matting. My huge weakness when it comes to technology is videography.
sounds great!
Glad to see 1983electric back again
Your brother can sing Freddy Mercury? The man had a 4-octave range!
This ^^^ was my response to Carl's post (above)! Culture Club and the B52s: two groups that I need never hear anything from ever again!
I do not remember this scene. Now I've got to watch the whole movie again! I love The Young Ones - surprised I missed that.
How many high E strings do you have on your guitar???
On the one occasion when I tried something like that, I just put the camera on me during the play-through. Then I grabbed it and held the camera on the screen during the instant replay. Then using Pinnacle editing software I did a PIP. You have to at least make some effort to align the two tracks but it doesn't need to be perfect. You can kill the audio on whichever track and as long as you're close it'll look and sound reasonably good. I'd put more effort into something I was going to sell, but for a forum post it doesn't take too much work.
Downloaded the Queen pack last night. Only had time to try out Fat Bottomed Girls - much more of a challenge than I anticipated! Will be fun once I get it down.

i was wondering if anyone else was having troubles with these songs . i never knew how involved these songs are, his hands are all over the place, its completely different from how i thought it would be played
its going to take me a while before i feel like i know how to play Queen songs
Gotta wonder why everybody would assume that Brian May's guitar parts would be easy. . . I think it's the tones. What everybody assumed was trumpets and violins, etc., in Queen's songs were oftentimes Brian May's guitar and his awesome tones!
I was fully expecting most of the songs to be pretty difficult, but I guess I figured that Fat Bottomed Girls was mostly power chords for some reason. I guess I never really listened to it that closely.

I guess i thought i was going to be able to rock these song easily because every time i have heard these song growing up i would always play air guitar to it and i thought i was doing well , but my goodness i was way out of key and and no where close to where i should of been playing . his guitar must be out of phase because its a very unique tone he has
