    Perfect Hunter Achievement

I've tried so many times to get this achievement, but its so stubborn. I don't know if I'm messing up or if this game is cheating me. The criteria for this achievement is to beat a d-ops mission with out being caught(on realistic). But does that mean, without being detected or having reinforcements come in because the first I tried I think was detected a couple of times but reinforcements never came though. The guards did start cussing and screaming, but I wouldn't think something so minuscule would stop me from getting the achievement. I also watched a video of some guy get this achievement, and he basically did what I did.

My second attempt the game completely ********ted me; I basically got through the whole level without being detected and only had 2 guys left. They were completely far away from each other so I used a port. emp to temporarily blind them, and I took down the guy next to me with a h2h. I don't know how this happened, but the other guard like 100 feet away (at this point they're both still stunned by the emp) somehow ****ing telepathically knows that I'm killing his friend, and starts shooting, which calls in all the reinforcements. My third and subsequents have all also ended the same way (by some douchbag guard detecting me for no reason) so I have never been able to get this achievement.

Has anyone had problems like this? Have any tips?

You have to do it without being detected. The only advice is to pick a map that you know well, and do that map. St Petersburg is the easiest in my opinion.

I agree on St. Petersburg as well. Don't be afraid to use tactics like going back to a restock box for more gadgets. The camera is very useful here. Also, I don't know about you, but I'm very hand-to-hand. If you're going to kill somebody by gunshot, makes sure nobody is near them, and that they're not planning on moving any time soon. Mark-and-executes should be saved for when you don't have much choice remaining. Always try to leave one of the areas of ten enemies with a mark ready. Bodies can be found, but it doesn't make it any easier. And don't use EMPs. Be patient instead. If I can get my webcam working, do you want me to do a quick runthrough to illustrate for you?

    I wouldn't mind, but it's not necessary.

Tried to record. Super crap quality. Scrapped it.

Anyways, if you plan on doing it, if you kill yourself if you screw up, I'm pretty sure that it restarts it, so you can start over in that area again.

The first steps you take in St. Petersburg on professional is the hardest really. I try to be strictly hand to hand, but the first enemies are usually a cluster of 3 enemies at the door. If you take out 2 but alert 1 there is usually an enemy just past the court yard through the door leading to the stairs. I usually have to shoot one and quick kill the next while being only able to eliminate 1 with stealth. Professional is pretty awkward sometimes. The amount of guards are the same for each area but their more closely placed together.
