I'm having the same issue: after redeeming the reward, it appears ok on my account online and on the uplay page in-game, but I still can't access the new map (message telling me I need to buy that content)

I just created a support ticket on http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/app/ask/
I hope this gets solved soon.

I have the same problem, I think this is somehow connected with the fact I used the promotional offer from uplay site, not from the aplication.

Same problem here.
I'm already in sequence 7. When I come in front of The Door, the message: "Unlocking via UPLAY is required to enter".

Using Windows 8 PRO.

I have also a problem at xbox 360 i am trying to connect to u play at ac 2 but it doesent work i register then continue to connect and it says error servers offline
