    In this article, it says:
    - "Guard dogs. If the pup grabs your arm mash the X button to put him down. [the camera will move behind Sam to hide the dog getting killed]"
Whoaa! So the devs did listen. We said we liked dogs but didnt like seeing them die. They did exactly that. I like it. Really excited about that

On the other hand i dont like that you get auto mark and execute for breaching doors. If thats only for all difficulties other than realistic( just like mark and execute itself is) then thats fine. I dont want mark and execute at all on realistic. Hopefully itll just be a bonus for easiest difficulty. There was really never a point where you couldnt get that execute before breaching a room. Even if you did, you would mark everyone, breach, run in, cqc a guy/ human shield, then executed everyone. In fact, i dont think that feature should be there at all. The only thing, the breach should do is stun the enemy like a flashbang and bust open the door.

Yeah, I'm not big on anything auto... auto execute when breaching is major BS.

Though, on that note I thing it's silly to disable M&E on hardest difficulty.
When applied correctly--in the fashion that I use it--difficulty and M&E are incompatible.
I'll break it down this way.
    - Does M&E make killing enemies easier? Yes
    - Is M&E a tool that allows for complex strategies that would be otherwise impossible, I.E. give you as the player more options and freedom to tackle situations however you see fit? Yes
    - Should you loose these extra options and strategic possibilities due to a difficulty setting? (hell) No

Well to me mark and execute seems like a tool that makes everything easier. So its almost like a "press this to get put of a tight situation". It helps when you screw up and get detected. so on its own it is an "auto help". However I noticed that if this was easy difficulty, and there are like 5 guys that you could take out smooth and you are playing stealth then thats fine, but dragging and hiding those bodies with other guards patrolling near by would be a pain in the a55.

    @ michelangelo
    Yeah, very true.
But typically, M&E is for the panther players, I.E. the zone get's cleared of threats--no one left to find the bodies.
For me, the get-out-of-jail-free card was always the portable EMP.
I hate using M&E when I'm detected, because--as you said--it's like an auto help button, which I really do not enjoy and I also think that is a betrayal of what the feature is supposed to be.

It would help things a lot if you could die while executing--especially now that they're allowing us to move and the way Sam uses close enemies as shields and such would eliminate frustrating moments. All 'round higher stakes during the execution would be great. And I still maintain that you should only be able to execute with both feet flat on the ground (so you can create a stable firing stance.)

Thats a really good point. You know you should be able to die when youre using mark and execute. There should also be things to dumb it down and make it more risky at times.

Also in terms of the emp. there was one thing i really didnt like about it. When an emp goes off it fries everything electronic permenetly! So in SCC when you did the portable emp, then you see all the lights SHatter. But eventually they go back to normal. I think a reasonable way to bring this back is that since the emp releases so much energy, you only get 1 per level. You can find resupplies throughout the level but other than that, its 1 limit. Except the fact that the emp takes out all electronic in that area permenently( except devices that have elctronic shielding such as some turrets, and cameras.) everything like lights and lasers and flashlights shut down permanently. And the guards just drop theyre flashlights or put them away.

    8. hiding in closets and under objects
    9. Smart guards/ patrols

    13. Progress report/ stealth score.
    14. Coop moves.

If theres anything i missed let me know and ill add.[/QUOTE

    Yes all this!!

Also the obvious stealth. It sucks they are taking that away. But I get it while we hardcore fans prefer realism and everything they are not making this for us they are making it for the masses. And the masses just want some more call of duty ********. They don't want to have to use patience moving slow and stealth, they want action and explosions and ****. This destroyed this game. First while I'm sure there will probably be some night play, It won't be a lot or else they would have put that in the ****in trailer. Second while Sam gets older his body seems to get younger, I mean in the game play demo did you see how he climbed that rock cliff??!!!!! 30 feet in like 4 SECONDS!!! This ain't ****IN Assassins Creed I will still play it of course but it's no longer Splinter Cell just another war game.

I like using the Mark as a ping for my partner, I ping ping ping on the enemy they need to be aware of. Other times, when really going for hard stealth, it's nice to pre-mark dangerous AI, THEN try to sneak by. If it goes sideways you get a 'chance' to hit the execute button and avoid an alert.
In that situation, the SuperAgent 'response' is mega cool.

Full time M&E drains some of the fun. Except during speed runs where it is awesomesauce.

for the night is dark and full of terrors

    7. Split jump! And other classic moves
I gotta say, the Splits Jump is probably my no1 most wanted classic ability.
Sam is much younger this time around, so there is really no excuse for it to be excluded again.

Yeah, mark and execute can be really fun when its used right. But the problem is that it could also be really boring if youre using it wrong and not doing the speedruns. It can seem really repetetive and generic since usually players do what works and that could really take away from the experience if,you keep repeating the same stuff. I mean running into a room and mark and executing guys will be really simple and straightforward. Shooting them with a gun takes away from alot the game has to offer since its not a shooter. However there is a way to fix this.

If a player wants to play the game as a shooter, fine! But....
AI has to be up to par with the game. Graphics are better, more features, ai must be better as well.
So!, this means that guards have to communicate well together, (not shout profanity but scarce and direct dialogue via headset)
and if youre shooting at them, there better be reinforcements with better armour and they better start throwing gernades. There should be guards with sniper rifles and in general, full out hell should be released. Theres the entire guard population against youre ***, it better feel like it. Everyone should concentrate fire on you, and you should die unless you're actions are really smart ( and i mean really smart. Like moving from cover to cover smart and doing risky things that pay off. I cant emphasize this enough). You cant expect to shoot you're way theough everyone through the entire game.

The game should force you to act smart, whether youre ghosting, playing panther, or even going guns blazing. At no point should the game say "oh, now that youre shooting youre guaranteed to clear these guards out" After all this is not only a stealth military simulation its also a Tom Clancy game so it MUST involve a ****-tonne of tactics!
