    Far Cry 3: Opinions?

Well, overall I think it's a really awesome game. From what is already saw of it, makes me very curious for more. The game is ultra detailed and all player-, enemy-, landscapemovements are made super realistic. And I still have some questions to ask. But those questions didn't get awnsered yet.

Is the map editor the same as in Far Cry 2?
Are you able to make your own maps more detailed than in Far Cry 2?

Will there be more weapons in the DLC-packs?
Will there be more game modes made?

    How far goes the weaponcustumation?
    etc.

How do you guys think about Far Cry 3? Will you be the first in-line the purchase Far Cry 3 at the closed store? Or do you prefere non-realistic games like COD?

I'm not going to stand in line for a week to get it, but I'm probably getting it within the first week. Super psyched.

The editor has been confirmed to use the same interface as Far Cry 2, while being more powerful and useful. So basically, yes to both of those questions.

They haven't said anything about weapons in DLC.

They have only a few base game modes, and I doubt they'll invest time into making more game modes for DLC packages.

Weapon customization ranges from skins, (Camo. Whether it's customizable or not is still to be seen) and attachments. Multiple attachments are still to be talked about.

More on customization, a customizable tattoo editor for the multiplayer has been confirmed. (For a DLC, I believe. Maybe not, it seems their previous DLC offers have kind of danced around..)

    Hope I helped.

Would've liked a free roam Co-op, but still going to get probably on release day.

yeah, freeroam co-op would be ideal, but I'm still excited for the co-op story.

I'm still hoping for it somewhere in there, even wait for it as a DLC.

The map editor is said to be better than far cry 2's. just without vehicles, but that's not set in stone yet.

that's about all i need to hold me down, but im not sure if i'd wait outside to be first in line just yet. If they add vehicles and crazy killer animals to the editor, then there's no question who the first in line will be
Ohhh and fully customizable weapon skins would be pretty friggin insane, so i can carry around art!

my Far cry 3 maps so far: KING KONG, MECH WARS PRIME, SPONGEBOB, MINES OF MORIA LOTR, ILLEGAL ALIENS

I am pretty excited for it, in fact it's the game I am most looking forward to between now and september. Really excited about the gameplay I have seen so far and love how ambitious the devs have been with singleplayer, Multiplayer, Coop and Map maker. Only thing that I am dissapointed in is the lack of vehicles in multiplayer/map maker. I am also a little worried about how it will look/play on consoles after the PS3 demo footage (I will play on Xbox) and of couse the net code is always bothersome until I get to see how it runs in the beta.

It's an improved version of the FC2 in-game editor. The same developer that worked on the FC2 editor is working on the FC3 editor. He knows his way around it.

That's really up to how creative you are.

While we've announced some DLC at the moment, a lot of the details are still in development.

The weapon customization is pretty robust. There's lots of different ways you can tweak out your weapons. If you receive an upgrade you already have, you can also send it to a friend for an added reward.

Still super excited, but the lack of vehicles in MP is sure a kick in the teeth.
