Post RE: For those are hoping for a Splinter Cell: Conviction port to the PS3

It's probably about as likely as Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots getting ported to the Xbox 360. Microsoft has exclusive rights; you can kinda see it as Mass Effect I suppose. Later sequels came to the PS3, but the first game will always remain a Microsoft exclusive.

But, it's not all bad for PS3 owners - and Ubisoft has been gracious enough to give you guys the HD port of the first 3 classic Splinter Cell games:

The disc versions run much better than the digital versions you get from PSN.

If you want to know my personal opinion on it, you can check out my review if you want:

As I said before, a port is not likely... If Blacklist is coming up, and you want to be caught up with the story line you can either watch them all yourself:

If you prefer to read the whole storyline, you can read the hefty paragraphs detailing Sam's in Conviction's adventure:

If you still think there will be a Conviction port, I'm not judging you nor do I think you are wrong - but here's just some stuff to help out.

Well, glad to see some views here, hopefully this helps.

Personally, the topics rowing in about complaining about Conviction not on PS3 are a little childish... PS3 owners are getting Blacklist, so I mean... Why complain? Having Blacklist is better than, quite frankly, not having it.

Nope, because then they'll be forced to buy the game and complain on the forums about its flaws and the money they wasted on it.

But good clarification. I didn't know that myself. A shame with these stupid Microsuck rights. Still though, Sony usually has better overall exclusives.

Well in any case its imposible for Xbox360 to have MGS4 at all from tehnical aspect,it couldn´t handle such a big game,it would take who knows how many DVDs to place the whole game on it.

    Ubisoft,really?

M$ pays you to keep it on 360 but put it's sequel on PS3,also.If there is things I hate about Ubisoft it is lazy ports & 360 favortism. Both systems got the HD collection Splinter Cells but no Conviction to PS3.Fair?No.Then what will be the point of playing Blacklist on PS3 if we get some ******* ****ing...Previsiously On Conviction type ********.It didn't help Mass Effect 2.You should make it available free or extra $10 for it & Blacklist.
