    internet connection

    Can someone advise me has the need to connected to the internet at all times to play Settlers 7 been dropped ?.many thanks.

    Has not been dropped. No indication from Ubisoft that any such intention exists.

    I played the game non stop,but family usualy complained I was slowing down their broaband,I have now re-installed windows,and was going to install SET. 7 again but hoped I could play off line by this time. Thanks for your reply. but the internet thing stinks!

    Hello ayrforce

    The game has received the update that will allow an Offline Mode option. All you will have to do is click the settings option in the upper right corner of the Game Launcher screen and choose to enable the Offline Mode.

    Sorry, but where is that says I can play offline? there is NO OPTION available in the launcher to play offline????? help please.

    I think that pennygod must have confused Settlers 7 with some other game. Ubisoft had indicated that they intend to remove the DRM, but so far there has been no change.
