Don't you get that this is what keeps EW going? Having that rivalry with players and getting a good laugh out of talking garbage to built up for tense rivalry matches. That is what makes this game so unique the fact that you have three rival factions batting it out with each other and giving fuel to the fire by talking smack on the forum. Maybe its just me but I don't actually hate this Dexter guy or anyone else on EW its just what makes the games much more enjoyable and it raises the stakes. Its very hard for people to "calm it down a notch" as people know that they can use this forum to get a rivarly going with people. If everybody was calm and polite with each other in an INTENSE WAR game then there would be no building up, it would just be boring as there would be no diplomacy taking place which has been a big part of EW. I can't make the decisions but if you just left the EW forum how it has been for the last few years there'll still be some energy left in it.

There has been a lot of closed threads and banning and that is going to kill the game off and there are people (who may not think it) that give me some good entertainment (with plenty of popcorn ) from reading the back and fourth smack talk. Like T1 says you can kill the game or leave it be with what it has left, well I tried...

I do get it, but it's possible to have that rivalry without the profanity, "your mother" jokes and other socially unacceptable stuff. Like it or not, it's an all ages forum and we have to police it as such. We are also aware that this game doesn't attract young people much so you get more leeway than Rabbids or Rayman might get.
So far most of the bans are temporary suspensions, they'll nearly all be back.

I completely agree all this arguments are insane BUT you people at ubisoft gave us a game with a lot of glitches that are easily exploited and a messed up server so we are mad as hell and we are irritated if you really got a problem with us expressing ourselves maybe you shouldn't of gotten a forum for us

First, I'm not "you people at Ubisoft", I'm a member of the community just like you, 'cept for a few extra permissions on the forums.

Second, Ubisoft have no problem with you expressing your dissatisfaction, but they (and I) believe it isn't necessary to use profanity and insults to do so.

However, problems with the game should be logged primarily through the support system so they can be properly collated and monitored, though it doesn't hurt to air you opinions here as well. The forums have primarily been provided as a forum for community members to discuss game play, strategies, hints, tips, organise events, etc with others who have a common interest in this game.

you seem mad maybe saying "you people" is still a bad way of addressing a group i ment no offense to you my bad but imma reply anyway

to first: I have an opinion of you and you have an opinion of yourself that is just the way life is everyone has their own opinion and in my opinion of you once you became a mod you joined the ubisoft train. So you will be included in the "you people at ubisoft" because that is my opinion.

to second: i feel the fact that you put they then and I in parenthesis clearly shows you are apart of the "you people at ubisoft" cause they+I=we here at ubisoft. On topic profanity and insults are apart of life it is almost always unnecessary to used them but people will always do it. but i do agree with you on that its your(you people at ubisoft's) forum your rules, its whatever at least to me.

and to the ending(imma break this one down a little):
1st sentence: I for one have never went to the support system unless the server was down but I know many people always say they have gone to the support system about glitches and glitches still happen all the time so it clearly aint doing nothing. You say you want our opinions but u clearly dont as i see any people have been banned on these very forums and im sure they have been banned on other ubisoft ran forums as well. What you really ment to say is "we want you to say things in the nicest way possible or gtfo of our forums cause we aint having that".
And the last sentence: In a game like endwar those things don't seem to happen most aren't very quick to share they just tell you what to deploy and you go on from there so our secondary reason for having a forum (to argue with other players in front of the world wide web for everyone to see) is our primary reason.

we've done the whole complain to support thing . we asked for glitches to be fixed , a way of managing dashboarders, new maps incorporated into theatre of war. shabby servers and the always popular " wheres endwar 2 "complaint, but to no avail . all we have is our arguments with each other to keep it going . strategies and gameplay tips are pointless posts too at this point in a games life , its all been done. nothing left but a war between old enemies and friends, plain and simple .

In my experience, forums that are friendly and supportive tend to get more new blood in than forums that are all smack talk
You might just be cutting down on potential players and forum participants by being too brash in your discussion style...

As for support, I understand there are issues with how some stuff is handled, but support tickets are how Ubisoft track quality control. If you don't use it, things certainly wont get better, they'll just assume the game had no major issues because there weren't many support requests lodged.
