    Selector switches?

Sorry to be a pain in the ***....but I was wondering if there will be the option to flip to single shot. Nothing chaps my bum more than having to sit on full auto in combat.

There are triggers that You may choose before a mission (in single-player) or before a match in gunsmith (multiplayer). There is the Match Trigger if I recall it right, which allows You to choose between full-auto and semi-auto.

    Best wishes,
    Sinful

There is on certain weapons depending on trigger group: Different guns have different groups.

    1. Semi-automatic.
    2. Full Auto.
    3. 3 rd Burst.
    4. Match Trigger - faster trigger response Semi.
    5. 2-step Trigger - Single tap for semi, double-tap for full auto.

They're just Ubi's way of getting around the fact that there aren't many buttons on a controller. =/

...And to add to their customisation.

    Well, it's not game-breaking D:

And it certainly provides people with true semi as opposed to full-auto in some other games D:

I remember the days of old, where you could just hit a button and cycle between any fire mode you wanted.
You're right though, it's not game breaking. Just reprimanding OP for not expecting anything less.

Just considered, I wonder how this will work on PC?
It doesn't on PS3, the fire button is bound to the R1 button and can't be remapped.

I know it passively increases RoF on semi-automatic weapons (you can fire single rounds off faster), but sensitivity is obviously unaffected.
I hope something changes for PC, but I doubt it at this point.

Well, you could remap it to a controller button, no? Kappa.
