when this was released at E3 it looked very unfinshed

Guys...
The game is still months away...
No one should be judging the game badly on early footage - Co -Op or otherwise..
Early footage is just proof of concept - and may have missing artwork, animation, placeholder sound and may be subject to change as a whole...
IF the footage shown was final - and we where playing it - then I would agree that it could be better - however it's not...
The game in single player - is already looking great on consoles [some footage has been seen]
Multiplayer and co op will also - I have faith..
There are separate teams working on the title, so there may be some differences at these VERY early stages of footage shown, this should be expected..
If you have seen some of the other titles, early footage does not always give a good sense of the final game..
I suggest, that people stop making kneejerk judgements on footage shown from early builds.. the final game will be better optimised..
If you are a fan of AC - you will know we had the whole 'OMG AC hates the british' drama - since footage shown didn't show the full scale of the gameplay - it only showed limited amount of assassinations - and they all showed Blue Coats getting killed..
Recent trailers have redressed the balance - even though the Devs have said from day one, it's not a clear line..
That shows the dangers of making snap judgements too early.. You need to see the real game - in the final build to truly judge something..
I have seen some people trying to make out, that Ubisoft are trying to mislead people by showing PC footage with pads?
This is not the case, Games are written with Pads in mind - and in public demo events - it makes sense to use a pad, simply due to not everyone being a PC gamer, most people know how to use a pad..
PC versions of the game, may also be more stable at this point, so it makes sense to use it - it may also look better - due to hardware etc, so why shouldn't it be used to showcase the game?
I'm sure when the time is right we will see more console footage..

I totally agree with Mr Shade... Don't judge a book by its cover.... even so that the cover is months from being finished.
Personally i think the graphics are looking pretty great already and its got what 4 months left until its released?
So what if a few shadows didn't load in time... (If anyone actually noticed) I have FULL faith that these small bugs that only get noticed by graphics geeks will get fixed
The game is looking amazingi can't wait to get it
i woudlnt say that if i dont think it is like this cause a few years ago they did not make it like this. And thats not only Ubisoft but also EA and other publishers...
When BF was shown at E3 before Release they played it on stage with Mouse and Keyboard.
The funny thing also that they never tell someone which plattform it actually is and when u ask them what it is they eitjer dont answer or say it will look awesome on all plattforms...
iiiNero, the developers are making a product. They are part of a business, that wants to make as much money as possible. It just so happens that we, as gamers, enjoy their product.
Be that as it may, they still want to advertise their product in the best light possible. This means the highest quality graphics and best visuals possible.
I think we forget sometimes that these people are not here to serve our every need, they are real people, who work for a huge business. Sure, they listen to the community in regard to features we all want and such, but at the end of the day, they are going to present their product in the best light possible. That's just life.
Think of a fast-food commercial, or a car advertisement.
Does anyone watching those ads say, "oh god, I'm so upset, Toyota misled me, my new car looks nothing like that!"
No, because that is just the way a business is run.
Jeg har ikke sett de videoene der, takk Johnnien![]()
Even though it will not look as great as pc, it will be good enough. There were numerous times in Far Cry 2 (PS3) where I stood in awe at how beautifull the world looked. This game will look better than Far Cry 2, so that's an instant win. Don't worry so much. As long as you're not expecting PC or for example Uncharted graphics, the game will look good and I bet it will be a blast roaming the world.
Now playing; [PS3] Assassin's Creed III
