Installing the Original Rainbow Six on Vista? | Forums

Is it possible? I've been trying to install it, but from the auto play, I hit install and nothing happens. Are there any tricks to getting it to work?

Not sure which Rainbow 6 game you are trying to install but:
I play Raven Shield with other players that use Vista. I use Win 7 and it works but I run it as admin. You will need to install it as admin also. I would try not using the Auto Start and install 'right clicking' the EXE on the CD and choosing 'run as admin'.

Did you try running the installer as an administrator? Also if you have 64 bit vista with ATI graphics, it probably isn't going to work.........for some reason the game doesn't work with the combo. Try right clicking on the installer and going to Properties. Click Run as Administrator , also try running it in compatibility mode with XP or 2000 or any other really.....should work then.
