Thread: Jammers don't earn any xp at all? | Forums

If you're intel hacked, within the range of the Jammer, you will not be seen. Trust me.

I can verify that the jammer "hides you" from being detected by a hack that has been done agains your teammate. But what i would like to know is does it also hide you when you ARE hacking. I have died a few times while hacking inside a jammers radius and the killcam clearly showed that i was totally detected.

The only thing i can imagine is causing that they get intel on me while i'm hacking, is that i stun the enemy first and then i place the jammer and then begin to hack. The hackings i do come suddenly and i don't have the time to place a jammer, then stun and hack the enemy would be laughing at me.

ohh yeah and yes it would be nice if you got some kind of XP from disrupting intel, and to not make it OP it could be like 25 XP per person inside radius, and when you have hacked / stunned someone you also get 25 XP from disrupting intel, The XP reward would also help state that "the guy who is trying to get intl can't see you". A lot of times i've been thinknig can he see me or does this relly work ??

The game is just glitchy like that. Many times I KNOW I'm not detected and yet in the kill cam it shows my outline in bright red. I've also been OTR scanned for several minutes despite being having actually ran back into spawn with no possible way for anyone to see me, even sitting near a jammer I was still scanned.

The Jammer only hides you when the enemy is within its radius, not when YOU are in its radius.

So if you stun someone and immediately put down a Jammer, anyone who's more than like 10 meters away from you can still see you.

You sure about that? I know if someone is sitting near a jammer and I look at them with an OTR scope or throw a sensor they're not detected and I'm nowhere near the jammer, so only they're in the radius.

    Weird.

I thought it was only supposed to jam ENEMY equipment. How is it jamming their HUD if they're not even in the radius?

I know that when a UAV is in a Jammer's radius, the enemy can still see the giant UAV icon... it just makes no sense.

I think all a jammer does is prevent any intel in that little bubble. WHich is why often teammates can't see each other's gamertags when they sit near a jammer. The UAV might fly too high over it for the jammer to take effect.

I've tested it. Even when the UAV is within centimeters of the Jammer, it still shows up for all enemies.

10 xp per intel denial, 1x against enemy UAVs, 1 per sensor, etc, that way I know someone threw something into the radius and can expect to be shot in the back sooner

As the premier jammer expert on here, I would like to clear up some myths.

    1. The jammer protects you from sensors, UAVS, and OTR's. you won't pop up red or on the enemy's hud.
    2. The jammer does indeed protect you from showing up when data hacking. The enemy will still know a data hack is going on but come on...It seems like they only really try because they see a enemy pop up on a map. I've never lost a data hack when using the jammer.
    3. Shoot to your hearts content Mr. Gunny. You may not pop up on their HUD but im sure the constant firing will lead them to you just fine.
