HEy all,

After seeing the beautiful islands for short on trailer i wish they really could implantate one motorized airplane. Something like an amphibious plane is the best. I really missed it at far cry 2 after beeing everywhere. And with the delta wing you could not stay for long period of time in the air to enjoy the scenery.

some planes like this would be nice.









There are legion mission possibilty's with such a planes.

- Some grazy pilot ( who is half of the time drunk, His plane is not in a good status ) but want to drop some stuff off and needs your help, you help in and in return he learns you to fly.
- There are some no fly zones over the island, becouse there is fast coming rain so you can't see where you fly or some AA guns from the guys from vaas. The AA guns were left by the japanese soldiers during WWII. And shoot you down if you won't clear them first.
- There is a mission you have to fly to a certain position to bring something and you got shot down and you have to parachute out of your plane.
- It can make you fast travel. Just go to shore call your buddy pilot , and jump with parachute to certain positions to play on a different style, parachute in on your enemies and bring confusion to them.
- You find such a plane and want to get away from the island with you and your girlfriend but you get shot down.
- Your chased and youve get to get out of here and there is only a beach, the grazy pilot comes touching down you have to swim to him while there shooting on you , you get on board , take a gun and fire at them while you go airborne to a saver location on one of the islands.
- Some airfield which is taken by enemies, clear it and you could use it to your benefiets. For dealing or dropping some stuff ( guns etcra by your friends)


For being out of borders it could be little bit the same like just cause 2, if you just want to fly to long out of boundries you come up at the other end of the map or you plane just makes automaticlly a turn due to storms or some things.


- At least i really want it if you completed the story so you can fly around the island just to watch the nice scenery and weather. I really missed planes at far cry 2 Helicopters or some motorized deltawing are also welcome. DLC HINT HINT!!

I think that's a great idea, and i like your ideas on the missions. that would be very awesome.. but until we know more about the game we'll just see if it will fit. .

It will be veerrryyy cool if there will be some Neighbor Islands, only very small ones would be cool, specific special secret items could be found there.....
an ultra lite plane would be enough...

I like the idea of the mad/drunk pilot. It's adapted to the strange cast of characters living on the island. But I would prefer not to drive the plane, just to be dropped in some particular places, and not in parachute (Jason's not a military guy, he's not trained). But I guess there's already some plane in the game, since the devs said there will be a quick time travel very easy to use when you want (IGN first review if I well remember).

There better be drivable air vehicles other than the hang glider. And hey, your missions ideas are EPIC. And yes, there should be parachutes. Angstik, do you really have to be military trained to use a parachute? No. I think you should be allowed one, maybe two at the most parachutes at one time, that you can buy from a supply "store", or from trade with others.

Thank you for your reply's, i am also not military trained and going soon parachuting its not so difficult , and with the skills you get it would also fit in parachuting. ( Going better to places you want ).
And flying is even not so difficult the most difficult part is the rules , and the landing for the rest with this sort planes you fly always on visiblity, which is great for sight seeing
I have learned the fly instruments within half a year with the mechanica parts how they work, but this sort of flying is good enough for just flying on view, it would be nice if they could make some fly instruments but not neccessarly needed.

The drunk pilot would be a little bit cliche maybe , but some grazy drinking pilot , who smokes a lot , and talks to much and doesn't pay to much attention when he fly's make it a pretty good character.

The plane can also serve as a base , where you can stock some survival stuff, weapons etcra.

There could also be a plot twist, you think you will drop packages but you are the package and get in a struggling in mid-air and you fall out off the airplane etcra. Enough grazy stuff you can imagine

The "military guy" part was to make understand you don't do it without being trained. And I guess that particular pilot won't assist you. More, the idea of getting dropped where want is not fun: the heart of the game is exploration, in the deep and creepy jungle.

I get you point , but they shouldn.t make it to easy for you ofcourse. So you still have to find it anywhere in the map, and you can call it up( with some sort of equired radio) for use for sometimes only at the beach or rivers etcra. It would make the gameplay maybe more deverse. Not dropping in like just cause 2 becouse thats way to easy and to much military.

And if it doesn't fit in the game they can always put it in after you finished the story just to enjoy the scenery etcra

Don't you think there is a reason behind why Jason is on the island? For all we know, him and his friends are (were) all adrenaline junkies. So in theory, Jason could potentially have the training to use a parachute. Besides that, he seems pretty handy with knives.
