Huh? Why would any company announce the sequel to a game that is a.) Only just now releasing in the EU , b.) Getting ready to drop the most anticipated US update since release (Bass Add-On) and c.) Prepping what the game's producer is hailing as a MAJOR announcement for DLC??? That would be sabotaging your own profitability...

Plenty of gaming companies do exactly that. Look at Activision and EA...and look at Ubisoft's own Assassin's Creed series. Pretty sure they announced Revelations before Brotherhood was even released.

.....your on crack. No way rocksmith 2 would already be announced. The PC version and going overseas is still pending. You guys know nothing about marketing. Perhaps you should try the new game Marketsmith?

It's not totally unbelievable though that Ubisoft might hint in PR speak about a sequel in development during their E3 presentation.

example: We're very proud of Rocksmith and you can expect the IP to be supported with new content, and a new sequel is in development for 2013...
