Alright, my 2 cents: Two clues: (1) it's a classic rock band not in the game already; and (2), this band has ~20 songs/hits worth considering for the game. I'd take the first clue as meaning any rock that I hear on "classic rock" format radio stations, and I assume the 2nd clue means the band has enough hits that most average rock fans can name a handful of this band's hits off the top of their head and has heard this band's music many times before without realizing who they're listening to.

Bands that I can think of that fit this criteria:
Black Sabbath
The Who
CCR
AC/DC
Aerosmith
Van Halen (crossing my fingers!)
The Eagles
Queen
Pink Floyd
ZZ Top
The Doors
Led Zepplin (unlikely unless Jimmy Page has had a change of heart regarding music games)
Jimi Hendrix Experience (unlikely because of tuning)
The Beatles (unlikely because of cost)

Good list, but I would add 'unlikely' next to AC/DC and Pink Floyd as well.

AC/DC doesn't like to release individual songs so unless it's a full album release, they're out.
Pink Floyd is similarly grumpy about their music being split up into separate tracks and have no history of collaboration with a game.

I guess we'll know in a little over 7 hours.....

What about Grateful Dead? They're sort of legendary, their sound is arguably "classic rock" and they already have a lot of songs in Rock Band. Not to mention that Jerry Garcia was a beastly guitar player.

I'd still put money on The Doors or The Who... I'd be VERY surprised if it were not one of these 2 groups.

Because both of them have huge catalogs, are easy to license (At least, RB and GH have tons of their songs) and they are definitely VERY classic rock. The only other one that I would put at the same odds would be Queen. Otherwise, RS will have pulled a major coup by getting one of the ones that we think may have exclusivity agreements, but don't, or someone who has been steadfast against having their stuff in music games, period (ZZ Top, Led Zep, Pink Floyd)... I just don't think that's happened.
