I realize there is nothing I can do on my side but if I make a ticket on the support site will they be able to change it for me? This username is not at all what I want as a matter in fact when I made it a while ago it was joke because I used my friends Gamertag.

Well never mind this question I called support today and the guy told me there is no way for anyone to do it. He also told me that people who create account through the shop get stuck with a generic name.

Honestly I don't understand how a feature to change your Username has not been implemented.

Hi, currently we cannot change usernames as these are attached to your Uplay account.

Mush, reading what you say, I assume it's better to make a new account with the desired name, in case you haven't games you don't want to lose linked to your account, am I right?

Making a new account is the only way of having a new username yes, however you then start from scratch.
