It has already been confirmed that Splinter Cell: Conviction will not be coming to PlayStation 3. If you didn't know that then you should have guessed from the lack of a port being out within two years of the game's release.
Don't take it personally or get mad, it's just a business decision made by Ubisoft and Microsoft (and I just noticed they both end with "soft").
The best I could recommend is buy it for a friend who has an Xbox 360 and play it together with them. Or get it on PC/Mac. There's also an iPhone version but I don't think it would be worth getting.
Hope for a re-release for it eventought of a new SC being on the way.Maybe they could make Conviction now as i heard that SC6 will be on PS3 and feature elements from Conviction.
This is hard for me to say, but I wouldn't mind even a port, a quick one so we can enjoy SCC too, I don't understand the whole exclusive thing, it came to MAC too (which as far as I know isn't MS right ?!), same goes for I-Phone/I-Pad, why not PS3 too ?!, I hope it was just a timed exclusive and that we get it one day.Originally Posted by reddragonhrcro
They can even include it on the Blue-Ray, like they did with AC1, when you buy Assassin's Creed Revelation you get AC1 too, more and more developers are making good use of the Blue-Ray, Bioshock Infinite will come with BioShock 1 too, so it would be so da** good to have SCC with SC6, though I doubt it

Good points there.Pretty much revenge is sweet as Xbox360 got banned in Germany and apperently the whole situaton could happen in the US aswell.(Apperently Microsoft commited something ilegal with the software and due so the whole thing going on court,as in Germany)
Either way a port or a remake with the engine used in SC6 to se the game on PS3 as me and my friend are hoarcore fans of it on PS3 and he isn´t getting Conviction for pc as i did.And on the PC its pretty bad to play for me(lag,connection,...)

I own all the games for PC, so it's a win-win!
At least PS3 users have the HD Collection, which is undeniably better than Conviction.

Ubisoft are suckers for letting microsoft buy the exclusivity rights for Splinter Cell Conviction.
Third party exclusives are such an outdated concept and it is just because microsoft is too cheap to develop their own exclusives that they have to buy them from ubisoft.
Shame for all PS3 only users but owning both systems is an advantage as you never have to miss a game because of crap like this.
