No Swastikas in English version of Game

I dont live in Germany where the swastika is banned in games so why have the swastikas been removed in the English version of the game?

I believe Ubi does not want swastikas in any of their games.

So how is it possible to have swastikas on the flags just by deleting a couple of dds files if this was true?

A media company does not have the right to enforce the censorship laws on me from another country.

I would like to hear what the UBISoft staff have to say about this before I take it further.

Ubi does have the right to make what rules they feel appropriate for their forums. When you registered you signed a form agreeing to the rules of Ubi.

I'm not desputing rules for forums, I was asking about swastikas in Silent Hunter 5.

Ubi decided to not have swastikas in their games. If you feel the game is not what you expected you could return it.

Thanks Yooperbacker, I didn't realise I could ask Steam for a refund because I am not happy with the historical inaccuracies of the game.

As you seem to be an UBISoft representative do you mind if I show Steam support this forum link with your permission for a refund?

    Three thoughts:

1.) Ubisoft is a French Video game publisher and developer. Their headquartered in Rennes France. You don't have to have a very firm grasp of history to understand why, perhaps, they wouldn't want Swaztika's in their game.

2.) Historical accuracy is always desirable, and understandable. However, a zealous fixation of the display of swaztika's is unhealthy. Rational minds might start wondering why it's display is so important to the ardent individual.

3.) Mod the game, and stop whining.
