    I like your idea in theory for the more popular modes, but I think I would virtually never get a Steal the Artifact lobby for example if I could only play with prestiged players. The less popular modes seem to have little following among more experienced players (at least on Xbox 360) but newer players are more willing to try them.

    The only person I have lost all respect for in this community. The same guy that got mauled by two of my friends that are brothers when my friends were by themselves and they won multiple times and even have pictures of their win. Earlier the guy they went HAM on had told both that they are garbage.

Knowing how easy it is to get prestige in this game, it should defintely not be a problem.

    Also, they could have an option for newcomers which will allow them to play with prestige players but by default that option will be turned off (This is for people that remake their account, or join game 1 year later when not a lot of people are playing).

    Also, in the beginning it will be hard to find prestiged lobbies (since not everyone would have prestiged in first 5 hours) so this feature will only activate once x amount of people have prestiged.

    Btw, if someone scores 10K, and rest of lobby scores 4K and all of them are prestiged, then I dont feel sorry for them at all because once you prestige, you should at least have some idea on how to play this game and not get destroyed every time (like in ACR - people have prestiged but not gotten any better, one of the reasons is smoke bomb).

    Your thoughts? and do you have any better ideas?
    Bad idea on so many levels.
    1. When the next game is released players first to prestige will be unable to find games.
    2. When the popularity of the game wanes (which is always does) it will be hard for players to find games (which it already is for acr and acb without restrictions)
    3. A good portion of prestige players are not remotely good and will probably lose interest if they are constantly in lobbies with top ranked players.
    4. Survival of the fittest. As a reward for putting effort into the game and learning how to play you should be rewarded with being able to own some noobs on occasion. Why do you feel the need to reward the weak? Some players worked hard to become as good as they are. Let them enjoy the fruits of their labor.
    5. Playing constantly versus good players is boring to me(and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.) I need diversity. I like playing against bad players and good players. It changes the pace of the game and makes you vary your strategy. Sometimes the players your facing are completely clueless and you can walk behind them unblended, focus, and poison. Sometimes you can be in a blend and be identified by a skilled player. Identifying the skill of a player is part of the fun as well as taking chances in trying to milk as many points out of a situation. Stop trying to fix things that aren't broken.
    6. Everyone has a chance to score tons of points of "noob" lobbies. You'll eventually get a noob lobby if you play long enough.

    This suggestion no offense is not very thought out and only takes into account 1 perspective out of 8.

    3. But they won't be. They'll be constantly put in lobbies with other PRESTIGED players, many of whom, as noted, are bad players.
    4. This is negated by your own (accurate) argument in point 3 that there are plenty of noobs who prestige.
    5. Again, negated by your own previous point (number 3, in case you forgot). Just because you're not going to be playing noobs with no abilities, doesn't mean you won't be playing against noobs.
    6. A better option to get a noob lobby is to play noob-friendly modes, like Simple Deathmatch, because the overabundance of lower-leveled players (because high level players don't like missing out on their cool toys) should increase the odds of having no other prestiged players.

    Or, you know, they could look at my suggestion instead, and the early prestige players or non-prestiged latecomers will only have slightly slowed matchmaking instead of being locked out of the game.

    Ummm yea just because 20 to 30% of the prestige players are bad doesnt mean I want to play in a full lobby of good players most of the time. It's just frustrating because it's often no longer about skill and mostly about lag. Something we'll both admit has been a major failure with ubisoft. Another problem is complicating the player matchmaking system when it's already subpar and the servers are already poorly programmed and managed. I already have to wait a minimum of 10 minutes when starting a team lobby in ACR and 20 for a team in ACB. Good for most of you that it doesn't effect you based on your play time. Since its during populated hours. It would suck for the rest of us. Haven't we all thought it was an absolute failure how players wouldnt go in the same lobbies due to player/ranked DLC 0,1,2,3 in acb? The idea of segregating an already fractured fanbase based on skill level is just plain stupid. If YOU don't want to play in a noob lobby....don't relaunch. Don't make stupid suggestions for the rest of us that would diminish our fun. What we're basically talking about is people being upset that players are getting very high scores on inexperienced players for templar rank? If it's really that big an issue make them not count if you are well overranked your opponents. Just don't ruin my fun so you feel better about yourself on your ranking. Personally I could give a bleep about that since the ranks generally get ruined by ppl who boost anyway. Grow up and think about everyone not just yourselves because some of us don't want to wait 10 or 20 more minutes for a game and just want to enjoy ourselves and not try to validate their lives through a meaningless templar score on a videogame. And before the personal attacks I've gotten 1 on alliance and 2 overall and top 10 in team on acb and I still dont care about rankings. Beyond that OD not to be mean but how do you know how getting a game is like when you dont play anymore? You have my condolences because of your lag issues, but your not in the trenches, you don't play, you don't wait at times for an hour, you don't know. Suggestions are like butts, everyone has one and they generally stink. This suggestion is one of those cases. Stinks.

    The other thing to consider... How are noobs going to learn to play better if they're only ever playing with other low level players? All that will happen is most of them will end up copying each other. By the time they prestige, the habits of roofing and running will be entrenched. This obviously doesn't apply to everyone but sadly that kind of play is too common - even IF it's what the devs allowed for.

    It's just so refreshing - and RARE - to find a lobby of low level players that ARE actually playing stealthily. Just saying.

    Which is why I ALSO say they shouldn't make any DLC that splits the playerbase. Charge for new characters (ACTUAL new characters, though, not on-disc used-in-pre-release-advertising characters), but give modes/maps FREE. Make them PATCHES instead of DLC. No separations except mode and player/ranked. And unlike ACR, you should be able to search for a specific mode and actually be put into that mode, while unlike ACB there should also be an option to search under "gametype" (FFA/Team/Co-Op if they bring back Alliance) instead of having to use "play now" or choose a specific mode.

    If it's really that big an issue make them not count if you are well overranked your opponents.
    So basically my suggestion that you didn't bother to read then?

    You're right. I don't know. I'm totally incapable of having friends who still play, and I never talk to any of those friends I don't have about the game.

    @obliviondolll, i like your 2nd idea.

    @indulgence.

    20-30% prestige players are bad? More like 75-85%. I had a 15K DM with disguise/poison in a prestige lobby, 2 weeks ago or so. I am sorry but that is not a good lobby. I dont even use smoke any more cuz players are just so bad these days. PRESTIGED players run at you and OSB you for 200 point kills. I have seen low levels play better than them. Also refer to oblvision to first or second post. Its a good idea.

    @ Lethella
    Noobs HAVE AN OPTION TO PLAY WITH PRESTIGE PLAYERS. As for improvement, in ACR i have seen no good players that are prestiged and did not play ACB before. Hence, ACR has failed to develop strong players.

    I play ACR maybe once a week now, but I can still find games very easily, and I go on at 3-4AM where it is usually LOW ACTIVITY.

    I believe it's the player's responsibility to do the right thing in this case. When I'm in a noob loby I usually dumb down my playstyle a little to make sure that everyone has their share of fun. I try to teach them that you can be a good player without roofing or running all the time, and do it by example (except when my target is on a roof and i'm going for a drop kill). However if the noob loby has COD players, who run non stop, I will punish them by OSB poisoning them (preferably with a scorex2). Hate me all you want but it's the best punishment.

    Either way, noob lobies usually don't stay noobish for very long, prestige players start joining quickly and after 3-4 sessions there might be no noobs left on that loby

    By "punishing" them you do know you probably have just created another non stop OSB'er right?
