    When I'm playing as defense then I just walk around with the crowd while being nearby our artifact.
    This tactic is way more effective than camping on rooftops or specific spots to get areial kills, in my opinion.

    1. They usually don't see me coming, and when they do, it's already to late for them.
    This way I don't even have to waste an ability to kill someone.

    2. If you're camping on a specific spot and don't manage to kill that thief from your spot, then you're pretty much ****ed in 8/10.

    Even that one spot from where you can kill any player in 90% of the artifact circle is not effective at all, just throw a smokebomb on the player who's camping there, or even better, throw a knife at him: problem solved.

    Camping, to me, is sitting out by a fire and roasting smores.

    Cheap AA defense is standing directly on your artifact with tripwire and gun or having your entire defense stand where the compus goes away. Easily countered with disguise/tele if they don't have tripwire.

    Staying on the edge of the map with firecrackers and poison?

    Pretty much every other way that people play is fine with me. As for offense I didn't like how everyone used Smoke and Tele but that sort of went away after a while.

    I still see people using smoke and teleport all the time in AA. Luckily it's not too hard to counter if I don't get caught in the smoke since I always bring knives.

    There's nothing wrong with using a certain tactic. If someone is "camping" and you're losing, you're losing. That's all there is to it. You're losing and they're winning.

    You got it all wrong. Someone camping and his team loosing. Thats how it works in real game.

    If his team loses because the defense can't keep their artifact safe, then the camper is doing it wrong.

    I still don't know whether I'm a camper or not, but when I'm playing as defense, the enemy usually won't score a single artifact, except they have a whole team of runners or I'm too far away from our atifact because I chased a thief.
    I hate to have defenders in my team who suck at doing their job.

    I think what noobfi_97 is trying to say, is, that I shouldn't care whether I'm camping or not, at the end you either win or lose (or end in a draw), nothing else matters.

    That's after I shot him once with my gun, after that he left immediately and sent me this message.

    Seriously people, what was I expected to do?
    My knives were reloading and he was already too far away.
    If I would let him pass the next corner, he would take a chasebreaker and I wouldn't get another chance to kill him, my team mates neither because they were all behind me.

    After I took that shot he could stay in the server and go for the artifact again because my gun has exactly 90 seconds cooldown.
    So if it's all about the gun, he could easily get the artifact and pass me, right? Yeah, but instead he left and wrote this message that I don't even care about, to be honest.

    This guy and his little squad are always leaving when the see me in the session.
    I wonder why, maybe because they can't score as many points as in other sessions while I'm defending?
    Are they sticking to the same runner tactic over and over again, and a guy like me just doesn't fit into their tactic?

    I remember when I sent a hate message to a player named Demon.King.
    I was new to AA and he was just a camper for me, it really annoyed the heck out of me.

    Now this was a while ago, now I accept players like him that are strictly defending their artifact.
    When I'm playing a runner class and there are gunners in the enemy team, I just keep trying until I get Boost Cooldowns, since then it's usually just a matter of time til I manage to steal the enemy artifact because my abilities reload after every death, theirs don't.

    Sometimes the enemy team is just better than we are, and we lose.
    I can deal with it.
