Camping in Artifact Assault
What do you guys consider as camping in AA?
For me it's camping when more than 2 players are strictly defending the artifact (e.g. 3 players with guns).
However, I often get insulted by other players (even high lvl.) because I defend our artifact with gun and knives.
Most of the time I also manage to get my animus hack and, if so, I run for the artifact myself.
Is that really such a cheap tactic?
I also don't play in defensive positions only, if I see 2 other players that are defending our artifact already, then I take another class and go for the artifact myself.
I would like to hear your opinions on this.
(Please excuse my poor english)

Nope it's not camping I have the same ability set up for defending. Gun, knife and animus hack after 9 kills followed by a charge into enemy territory. As you said, if you see 2 teammates defending and you stand next to them making it 3 of you defending that's definitely camping, which sucks
Some people get pissed off when you keep killing them that's all it is..
Camping is what the other guy does when you suck and he isn't a runner.
I know a certain team that ruined the AA tournament and got two other teams mad at me by camping.HELL,they even wanted gun n animus hack in it XD,so much for high n mighty.
So yeah its REALLY stupid, and for people who lack the brains to use an actual tactic.

I don't quite understand, so you say it's really stupid of me that I use this tactic and that I lack the brains for "actual" tactics?
If you are standing in one place waiting for people to come to you, you are camping. I would not go so far as to say it is a stupid tactic, but it is very annoying and anyone using it is definitely a donkey. And yes, playing with the boundary line (charging across and back to try for cheap stuns or kills) is also camping.
Also, the gun really ruins this game, especially when one side is playing turtle.
I said if a whole team was,it is.
For me, camping in Artifact Assault isn't when you stay near your artifact with the intention of protecting it, because your enemies can still get to the base and then outsmart you.
I would rather say that camping in AA is where players stay near the game mode's divide and taunt, throw smoke in and then immediately retreat back to their safe haven after a stun or two.

camping in my opinion is when people sit in an aerial spot above their artifact so that they take away almost 7/8 of the capture circle equipped with knives and gun making it impossible to escape without going up to his spot and stunning him, which is sometimes equally as hard...
signature made by zeejay, thanks dude its frickin awesome
Camping in AA for me is sitting somewhere (mostly near artifact) for most of the match. I hate having campers in my own team because they are useless.
Playing defense/support role is not camping.
We always encounter campers. And while it's not that fun to play againts whole team of them, it's still very easy to get a win. There is a rule: you cant win AA by defense unless you extremely lucky, you can only try to hold your lead once you get it by switching to defense mid-game.
