I totally think this should be made available for us non-Europeans. It'd be good business sense too. At first I thought it would be available eventually, but now I'm not so sure...

Agreed. Region-specific editions are super lame.

It is available to you all! You just may have to import it which is not that hard or expensive.

The PlayStation 3 is region-free for PS3 games so anyone in the States / Canada and anywhere else can purchase the Insane Edition and it will work over there when it arrives (my bet is that it will release everywhere else at some point anyhow)

I would expect PC to be Region Free also.

DLC and other codes in the packages, may be region locked though, depending on the console, that is something Ubisoft have no control over.

So, if you are importing, it's worth considering.

    Hi.. First post here.

I am a big FC2 fan ( multiplayer only I am afraid ). I am looking forward to FC3 and I saw these editions..
Now I am wondering if I would benefit from the Insane Edition. I only play the multi player, so what will it actually bring me?? In FC2 it happened that I couldn't join matches because of DLC. I hated that and I don't want to other players to be unable to join because of DLC. So what is the benefit?

LittleNinjaNL these are the options you get below.

    Lost Expeditions

Explore 2 Single Player missions & Explore the World War 2 ruins of the Island.
Mission 1 Forgotten Experiment - Mission 2 Ignition In The deep (these add 40 mins more game play)
The Multiplayer bonus is a Type 10 Japanese World War 2 Flare Gun (Don't be fooled as this fires shotgun shells and might be powerful at close range)

    The Warrior Pack

Multiplayer Early access to the Tattoo-Editor (for MP only) This will become available anyway, at some point in the game you will unlock it.
Two exclusive tribal Tattoo´s for the single player campaign
A handmade dagger made by natives of the island during a tribal war

    The Monkey Business Pack

Singleplayer Discover Hurk, a new memorable character and quest giver, and his four unique missions (1 hour additional gameplay)
Multiplayer 2 Bonus ways to humiliate your friends (these are just the end of match movie sequences where you choose if you want to let the person live or punish them)

    The Predator Pack

    Singleplayer Four exclusive rare predators
    Multiplayer A Predator Bow

    The Hunter Pack

Singleplayer The M700 hunting rifle and its three collector’s skins.

    The Insane Edition

All of the above are included and A 12cm Vaas Wahine with bobble head
An ‘Insanity Guide’ containing hints and tips to help you survive the island

It does say with the Insane Edition that you get access to all Unlockable Content - you would have to decide which is the best for your multiplayer needs from those above.
