Thread: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier- feedback [Do Not Post Spoilers!] | Forums

Also want to add a need for online matchmaking for Guerilla and Campaign co-op. I was really looking forward to Guerilla mode and it's disappointing I can't get the full experience unless I coordinate 3 other friends who have to be online and wanting to play this mode at the same time as me. As someone mentioned earlier, a lot of my friends playing this game are on different time zones and it's not that easy to get 4 people online playing and starting at the same time as myself. If I am playing early on a Saturday morning, it's literally impossible to play Guerilla mode unless I start trolling in MP lobbies for people to play with or posting on forums to get friend invites so I can get a good 4 player match. Most of the time, I will never have 4 friends online at the same time which makes this mode non-existent for me and that is a shame.

I guess I don't understand all the complexitity that goes into this, but right now the game allows play with 4 different people online who can be in 4 different locations on 4 different Xbox's which seems like the bulk of the work. We are just asking to allow functionality to place me in a room of 3 other random people instead of having to do it with 3 friends.

Some changes that should be highly considered for Guerrilla mode. Adding gunsmith customized weapons from the start and removing the weapon end wave drop offs. This mode suffers from a severe lack of customization, and allowing your own created weapons is a way to keep the mode interesting. Weapon drop off crates should either be taken out or altered so that all it does is allow you to change from one of your gunsmith weapons to another.

Some new modes should be added as future DLC, perhaps free to the faithful fans, might be too hopeful on that though. Adding firefight, defend, recon, and other co-op modes similar to past titles is much needed to keep variety to the co-op community. These modes should also utilize customization on the same levels of past titles. The new modes could utilize the already existing guerrilla mode maps, giving us yet another 4 player co-op mode for variety.

If the new modes isn't a real feasible possibility from a developing standpoint, then at least address the concerns of guerrilla mode, or the co-op fanbase will disappear before not too long.
i absolutely agree, the multiplayer of the game has not been the strong point of the game, the coop modes where. the ability to just either set up a game where you had to work as a team to eliminate all the enemy's on the map to just simply getting missions done, that was the strong point in all of the ghost recon titles and the fact that yu removed them leaving use only 2 options which are not that great, then the game will be dropped faster in the future and this will be a fail on the developers side.

the coop modes in the last ghost recons was the strong point and kept it alive for so long, if you wish to have it again then you would be smart in t releasing a dlc soon that has the coop modes in it, i would gladly pay 15$ for the option f playing ghost recon as it was, you would make so much money adding the gunsmith feature to the coop aspect of the original games

    1. Dead indicator. Should be able to tell who is dead on scoreboard screen
    2. Dead room folks should not be able to talk to people stil alive in round. Very easy for them to tell friends still alive where they got shot from...ect
    3. The bodark side weapons are still MAJORLY under powered than the ghost weapon (this was threaded about all over in beta, still not fixed)
    4. Need tactical controller layout ( hire some COD programmers so you know how to do it)

    thanks

Would like to add a #5 to my list

#5. Be able to save weapon setup in private matches. In competition we will be playing in private rooms and each time you go into a private room(match) you have to setup all your weapons again. Is there a way to be able to save your weapon setup like now in the public rooms? This option would really help speed up the start of matches as we could just pick our guns and go , right now we have to setup the kits each time.

    thanks

2 big things that stuck out and should be fixed!

Matchmaking for Guerilla and campaign mode. It is almost an expectation that these will exist in modern game releases. Guerilla is a waste of game design and effort if I'm handcuffed to only playing w/ friends when they are online and in the mood for this game mode. Playing public cooperative games are ideal for the convenience plus we can learn by playing w/ others.

2nd item. In Guerilla mode, please cut out the mandatory game freeze to show the score between waves. That COMPLETELY kills the flow of the game forcing us to review that. Other stand off game modes are seamless between waves, allowing characters to regroup and prep. Freezing the match and showing us stats (which should be optional) really kills the mood and momentum. Hopefully this can be updated easily and possibly changed to an optional view that is trigger by a button action, or maybe just make the scoreboard more transparent as a light overlay between waves where players can still play around in game.

i;'ve made the same complaint, 100% agree... the first round you finish in like 30seconds to a min then.... STOP!!! add up score, wait wait, ok drop a crate, wait for it pick up your gun/grenades then as you start to get ready the game begins the next round.. kilsl the flow and then you dont have enough time to set up... uggg.

and the friends list is dumb,, i don't have any friends who are getting this game any time soon, now i am forced to find people online and then add them to my friends list then see if they want to play this mode.... uggg.

Agreed, matchmaking is a necessary for this. Halo: Reach had this. Seems Bungie is always ahead of the curve and Ubisoft is always playing the cheap-stake trying to do as little as they can.

I would also add, allow us to use Gunsmith for the Campaign character as well. Too much focused on the Multiplayer and it will not last as long as the campaign.

I am a traditional and long time GR and Rainbow fain, with that said....

    1. Hosting Open Rooms is a must. This is part of your legacy. This allows the user to edit any features,ie drones etc, out of the game and set up his match type the way he wants. I would always host a room and often times run it all day with no issues. Please revert back to the GR roots on this one guys. At least make it an option.

    2. Team Death Match...this is a must and I hope it is coming. This is another GR roots thing. Thats what made this game so great. The boards were all different sizes. You could run and gun or sit back and snipe. This game has the potential to be epic.

    3. More COOP game play. Yet another roots thing. This falls under playability. I played the last game forever just because there were so many COOP missions.

    4. You cant fix this one but the overall quality of the characters is pretty crappy. (referring to regular game non multiplayer) I just finished Max Payne 3 and those guys at Rockstar know about graphics. Their characters look great.

    5. Last Stand ...yet one more roots thing. I do recognize that there is a game mode similar, so not as big a deal.

Please make some changes soon guys. I really do feel as though there is a lot of potential here.
