Thread: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier- feedback [Do Not Post Spoilers!] | Forums

  1. #11
The cinimatics are way off they will show all the ghosts with acrs in silent talon then when the mission starts each ghost has there on different gun i have seen about 3to glitches with enemies dropping through the ground and then shooting up like a rocket to team ghosts running in side of each other the sync shooting reminds me of conviction when the squad mates are shooting through buildings. I havent even gotten past silent talon and i keep asking myself who were your in house testers cause they missed way to much you should of delayed the game so it wouldnt be like this. Lastly i just eant to say i am an old school ghost recon and tom clancy gamer i just wanted this game to be perfect

    2. Dead room folks should not be able to talk to people stil alive in round. Very easy for them to tell friends still alive where they got shot from...ect
    3. The bodark side weapons are still MAJORLY under powered than the ghost weapon (this was threaded about all over in beta, still not fixed)
    4. Need tactical controller layout ( hire some COD programmers so you know how to do it)

    thanks
You want another Call of Duty game go wait and twidle your thumbs till October and get off Ghost Recon. I am sick and tired of everyone trying to turn great shooters into trash that is known as Call of Duty modded warfare.

I just want rich co op experiences. More game modes, dlcs with new weapons. Split screen campaign!!! So important to me. I dont think you guys had a good excuse to not include it. Its the offline repetitive play that wins my heart.

So, though I didn't want to say it, I'm going to.

I told you so. I said multiple times during the Beta that having the weapons and equipment be unlocks based on playtime was a horrible balance idea that was going to alienate anyone who chose not to or was unable to get this game on Day 1. God forbid someone doesn't pay for overnight shipping you know. The Beta wasn't terribly bad for this since everyone was on a mostly even playing field in terms of game time, but even a few matches today showed how wildly unbalanced and unfair its going to be for people who get the game a in week, a month or whatever.

Time played/skill should not reward you with things that actually affect your ability to perform. Someone who gets the game a week or a month later should be on the same playing field as the person who got the game on Day 1. They should not be equipped with weapons and equipment that is strictly inferior just because other players have more playtime.

Let people unlock all the headgear, paint, camo, bling etc. that they want by ranking up and through play time, but give everyone the same guns, modifications and equipment from the start.

Hopefully it doesn't turn off too many people, because it would suck to have another non-COD MP game die.

I would like to see more sway on all weapons when popping from cover because the last thing you want is to make this game a peek-a-boo camp fest with people stuck to cover waiting for objective players to run by and kill them, if this was to happen people would not move from cover and therefore that would render this so called "objective shooter" not so objective.

There is no point in tweaking the barriers for siege because I am guessing they have been balanced for each map, the only thing you could do is keep them or get rid of them (no tweaking).

Siege needs at least 5 round, I cannot stress how important this is, 3 rounds takes the tension out of siege and you are left with games that are over in 5-minutes which is not very good.

Obviously it goes without saying that GRFS needs to be patched with fully customizable settings and I have been told that the devs are aware of this and I can;t ask for much more than that.

Why did you ruin the online ranking system?

Why does every game have to have the exact same ranking system as COD? Having a system where you could go up and down based on play was awesome and the main reason i played GRAW 1 and 2 so much, sure the boosters were annoying, but who cares, it kept me wanting to play and compete with my friends. I can honestly say this will be the first game i trade in the day after i buy it. I just texted my buddy and told him not to bother picking this game up either. sucks man, i was so friggin pumped for this game to come out. Just needed to vent.

    Yay!
-The campaign plays very well. Movement is fluid and weapon mechanics feel solid. It's a wonderful evolution of Advanced Warfighter.
-The friendly AI feels like an asset.
-Gunsmith is a great cutomization tool.
-The plot, thus far, is compelling which I was not expecting military shooter to be in this day and age.
-The sci-fi aspect of "future soldier" tech is well integrated into both the setting and gameplay. Crouch to cloak, especially, is a very nice and intuitive feature.
-Quite simply, it's fun in most aspects.

    Nay!
-No co-op matchmaking. For me this may be fatal for FS.
-I've never been that big on Ghost Recon multiplayer (Rainbow is much more my cup of tea) and FS's has not changed that.

This game needs player hosted SEARCHABLE CUSTOM LOBBIES (SCLs). It will fix almost ever complaint you see in this forum. Give us all the customizable options GRAW had. SCLs should be unranked with every thing unlocked for every class and side.(ghost or bodark) While the host can ban anything he wants down to one pistol only.

Don't like wall hacks/ intel? You could turn intel off. I mean being able to see people through walls is a CHEAT/ MOD on any other shooter as it should be. This game is named "GHOST Recon", what kind of ghost are you if you are constantly being seen through walls? Or on Radar? Intel is nothing new. COD kids would hack there xbox to put that wall hack cheat in their game. Maybe thats who you are catering to.

LAG you could join a host you know runs a good lag free lobby, or start a lobby yourself. COD private matches would run a lot smother in private lobbies with more players then the matchmaking equivalent. Maybe player hosted lobbies are just less lagy then matchmaking lobbies. There are plenty of people with really fast broadband connections these days.

Want to be able to flank? Turn off radar/ hud map ,and wall hack/ intel. Being able to flank is the most basic and the most used tactic in any type of armed conflict. You cant do that when you are on radar or outlined in red.

Want more no respawn games? you could turn off respawns on all game modes.

Like big maps not small maps? Or vice versa ? You can play the maps you want.

Clan matches? Almost every shooter has customizable lobbies(some non searchable) this is a must for clan matches.

Think getting blown up by a uav is cheep? You can turn them off.

Turrets, Claymores, Shock Mines, are all cheap. Just place in one of the three ways to go on the map and boom you got 1 more for that K/D ratio. If it gets destroyed just chose the infinity ammo in your kit and you got more. With SCLs you could turn that stuff off.

I could go on n on but i think i have made my point.

This could be done separate of the main matchmaking mode you have now. People who love the game the way it is can keep playing the way it is. People who dont like it(seems to be a lot based on threads in the forum) can go find custom lobbies with settings to their liking. This would create a real ghost community like Ubi used to have. SCLs make it easier to make friends, and playing with friends(or at least like minded people) is what makes games more team oriented then any objective based respawn game mode can. This way you please almost every potential customer and set your self apart from other shooters.

The very lest you could do is make a "bare bones" mode with out hacks, intel, uavs, and turrets to appeal to a broader base of online MP shooter fans. There are a lot of shooter fans out there that just want a online MP shooter with out radar or otherwise being able to be seen with out line of sight eye contact.

With out radar and intel I would actually like the game. Its alot more fluid with the movements of you character then any other GR title. Although i don't like the cover system or smaller maps they are not a game killer like intel, uavs and radars.

No Matchmaking for Co-Op is Unacceptable

It's 2012 and "co-op" means "matchmaking." Shipping co-op without matchmaking = standard feature removal. Numerous games have cemented this expectation, like it or not. I love co-op survival modes and I bought GRFS for Guerrilla mode and it is all but unplayable. Rats! This is an obvious fatal mistake, IMO. Please fix this.
