You can play a couple of modes without a uplay passport, unsure which ones, possibly sabo and conflict. However you can only achieve level 5 as a maximum so you wont get chance to augment your weapon etc. if you are buying second hand you can get a passport for 800msp.

Please don't swear - the use of the Passport system is wide spread in Ubisoft games.


You are still able to try the game, before you purchase one, if you buy the game second hand.
