how do you download it to your xbox because it isn't working for me
how do you download it to your xbox because it isn't working for me
Yeah, i haven't been able to figure out how to get the theme i redeemed onto my PS3.... everything else, just falls into place where you need it, but i would i assume i need to d/l to my hdd? anyway, you people complaining about the "Uplay passport" need to stop.
1)there was a code in the case (if bought new)
2)if it's a pirate copy, screw $10, you should have to pay $50, stop being idiots
3)If you bought it second hand from GameStop, then they SHOULD have told you while checking out that you need it, and they can sell you one RIGHT THERE for $10. Anyone who played BF3 understands this.
It's not because "their views are out of whack", it's because when someone buys pre-owned over new, they don't seem money for that. They are a COMPANY who was made to make people MONEY, not a charity' and not some 2 bit "shooter" that puts a p.o.s. game out EVERY year and claims "it's TOTALLY different".
so complainers, you have 2 options;
1)Sit down, shut up, pay the 10 and have a BLAST, OR;
2)Return the game to where ever you got it from, and go play Skylanders, i hear there is no online codes for that![]()
Here's the problem with that theory:
When I buy dishes and then sell them at a garage sale, my dish maker doesn't get any money from the resale. If I buy a computer and then sell it on Craigslist, HP does not get money from that resale. The issue is that the companies are being greedy by feeling they should get money from second hand sales. If their complaint is that people only buy used and never new, they're idiotic because in order for used copies to be available, people have to sell copies which were new when originally purchased back to Gamestop or the like. If they want their game to be purchased new by every customer, make it the best game it can be, with no release day update, and treat the customer like they matter. It's not about the $10, it's about companies respecting and valuing their customers, which will lead to profits, rather than just focusing on profits.
The guy with the garage sale analogy is right. Ubisoft has no right to make more money of money you already gave them other than to use that money to make a new game. The greed of these online passes is so obvious all they are doing is making jaded games learn how easy it is to just download and play a pirated game. They will still get money from all the dlc that they hold back or is even on the disc. Trying to take a piece of the used game market is low. I'm only buying games from companies that deserve my money the rest I buy used just out of princible from now on. Shame on you Ubisoft, I thought you were one of the good guys. I love how it's illegal to download a game but legal for a company to sell you one that doesn't even work as described. With every little greedy idea you come up with to stop piracy or make more money you have created a handful of people who are now realizing how easy it is to pirate games just from a 5 min read on google.
You, sir, are an idiot...
Your comparison of an online multiplayer game that ties up Ubisofts servers, requires them to maintain these servers, update these servers etc to plates is idiotic, at best. If your "dish maker" came to your house and routinely updated your plates, gave you new plates from time to time, etc, then your comparison would make sense. As for people who buy used and then cry about how they have to now pay to play online, get over it... You guys cry when a game sucks, yet you dont want to pay the money to continue to support the game manufacturers so they can keep pumping out quality games. And I dont mean just this game, but all games in general. Companies like Gamestop are a legal pirating service. They get their hands on something someone else paid for and they resell it 5, 10, 20, etc times making all the profit from those resales that the original company never sees one dime of. Im summary, if you dont like it, stfu, cancel your account here and go cry about how unfair your life is that you dont get everything your way.
As for those of you who didnt check your game case to see that you got a code in there for a free Uplay passport and paid for another one, you deserve to pay because youre too stupid... Thanks and have a fantastic day/night.

Regarding the Uplay Passport
A Uplay Passport code is indeed provided on a leaflet in all new copies of the game. If you bought you copy new and didn't get a Passport, please contact Support via the form on http://support.ubi.com so that they can look into this with you.
Please also note that if you rent the game or buy it used, you can still play multiplayer with your friends and try out how it plays out. What the Passport unlocks is progression above level 5 and access to all modes.
Regarding the Double Time rewards
The Double Time reward allows you to unlock both weapons at a decision point: the thing is it only works for weapons, not other pieces of equipment. The first time you have the choice between two weapons is at level 20.
Regarding the Mission Accomplished
Units for finishing the game don't always unlock right when you reach the credits. You might have to relaunch the game to get your 40 units. Let us know if you still have issues and we'll look into it.
it's on a card inside the game case.
i downloaded the Double Time reward a few days ago and it doesn't do anything in my game I couldn't get both weapons or give me a mp character i still had to choose one weapon and no option to download a mp character so that 20 uplay points gone but its not like there hard to get its just annoying
Well, it is annoying. Is the reward showing as redeemed on www.uplay.com (WIN section)?
