If i try to run Far Cry, the execution terminates within 1 second and returns errorcode 128. Both versions (with adn -out the research-level) shows the same result.

Where did you get the demos? bad source?

The version of february run with Catalyst 3.9 and the same configuration. After reinstalling operating system the installation of FarCry succeed but no way to start the game.
have you tried 4.2 (catalyst)? mine runs fine.
