I just noticed your 116k. Ahead of the challenge I had a score above 116k, but when I went to play it this earlier this week I somehow am not getting as much groove out of my runs. I hope I get another chance to play this week.

This is a really fun song on any arrangement, so I thought I'd give the competition a go. Here's my best result so far:
For whatever reason it's throwing the interlude at me pre-leveled, and the solos at a rather high level, so that's why the accuracy is 79%, lol. I might actually be able to work out a way to tap the interlude, but I don't know. I can't see myself getting anywhere with the solo, but I the parts I can more or less play are really fun. I don't know that I'd be able to improve much just tomorrow though, and I'll be doing other things this weekend, primarily because it's my birthday Saturday.

I still want to work more on the solo, especially the ending because I've just been winging the last part before the long sustains/bends. Hopefully I'll get some time to play this weekend (got family birthdays and such).

I updated my score
I'm right at the edge of going over into advanced. I tried the tapping thing last night, but I completely bombed it each time. I can sort of doing when I go nice and slow, but when I hit it in the performance I get all fumble finger. Last night would have been a good time to have that menu option to return everything to max achieved level bound to a trigger button or something.
Anyway, I'm hoping I can get that last 2k or so to cross over into the advanced category, but not sure I'll get time. There is too much going on this weekend.

@Mbarsott - Thanks for taking the time to show us that... so much easier to follow that than reading my tab, LOL!
@rcole_sooner - That was a blast to watch... you rocked that song, man. The only thing I noticed (and I have been doing it too) is that during the interlude it seems like you might be a bit 'fast' on the slide and it's not registering because of that. Basically it looks like you are ending the slide before it ends on the game and then when you hit the next note you're a little ahead. I could be totally wrong here, but I know I've done that and based on your video it kinda looked like that might be plaguing you as well.
I hope I can get that solo down as well as you've got it... that was badass! Oh and I love the look of your green/sunburst/mapletop on the wall.
What do you mean by recalibrate? Is that when you go into the tuner and it makes you do a soundcheck?
