PunkBuster - i need help | Forums

I really want to play this games multiplayer but PunkBuster is giving me a hard time. I am constantly disconnected or the game crashes after long play and now i cant even connect to any server. So i have few questions for more experienced members of this forum.

1. Can i play this game multiplayer on windows 7 64bit without constant crashes and HAW.
( Windows compatibility center says that game is not compatible with win7 64bit )

2. How can i update PunkBuster when they don't support FC2 any more.
( I need detailed instruction and links )

game is Fortunes Edition and my spac are:

64-bit Windows 7
Intel core I7 2600k Sandy Bridge
Corsair H100 Hydro
Asus Sabertooth_P67-B3 MBO
ASUS 680-2GD5
16 GB Corsair_Vengeance(CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8)
Corsair TX850 PSU
WD 1500FAEX
Corsair 500R Carbide case


First time i have played this game on laptop which is dead now so if anybody knows which files except C:\Users\Ivan\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 2 i need to transfer in new install to make game realize i have completed campaign. But this is not so important to me but if you know thanks.

I have not contacted Technical Support nor do i know how to that link looks like maze or a puzzle i am not able to figure out.
I know it is not in your job description but you should at least tried to answer one question before giving me a lesson in manners.
So i will say again I NEED HELP. If you have dealt with similar problems in past PLEASE tell me how to set PunkBuster.
And technically that was not swear because i used stars so... but i won't do it again ok. I was just trying to express my anger.
I should have used emoticons.

You could try re-installing Punkbuster http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/ci/fa...ilename/pb.zip

1. Download PB.ZIP
2. Delete this folder: Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow\online\System\pb (yes, delete the pb folder entirely).
3. Extract the pb folder from the PB.ZIP.
4. Place this new pb folder where the old one was (online\System).
5. Make the pb folder read-only.
6. Copy the pb folder and put the copy in a secure location, in case you need it in the future.

Please note Far Cry 2 doesn't support laptop graphic cards but they may work so this may be your issue.
