By "solo" do you mean "free-for-all?" The way Ghost Recon Online works currently, I think a free-for-all mode wouldn't work very well. The core of GRO is tactics and teamwork, and when you're alone, half of the game's core goes away. I'm not saying it's not possible; I'm saying it would require a lot more work than simply adding the mode into the existing game.

As for adding in maps from the classic Ghost Recon games, well, anything's possible. This is a free-to-play game, and as such, you can probably expect to see new content being rolled out fairly frequently. Who's to say a classic Ghost Recon map (or even a free-for-all game mode) couldn't be added?

Yes it does. I think you need to understand what Ghost Recon Online is before suggesting things like this.

If you have additional things to say in a thread and you have the last post, click on the "Edit Post" button and add it to your last post. Posting many things in a row is generally frowned on when posting things online.

Due to the difference in play-styles between the original Ghost Recon (and other Ghost Recon games for that matter), old maps would likely need to be tweaked A LOT to make the "flow" feel right in Ghost Recon Online. I love to see maps "based on" older maps from previous games in a series, but remade to incorporate tweaks, upgrades, and redesigned elements. I hate carbon copies of old maps with nothing but "graphical upgrades".

When you say "solo" do you mean "no teams"? Free-for-all? Every man for himself? I'd play some FFA games in GRO, but not much since it's much more fun to play as a team.

Glad to help! You can also delete your own posts using the "Edit Post" button. This only works for a short period of time after you make a post though.

We can't play FFA right now in GRO. They might add more game types in the future though! We still have a long way to go before the game is released!

I agree, having both team and solo games would be good. I think the focus should be on team games since this is Ghost Recon.
