Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
I explain myself. I'm not into Battlefield I never liked it, I played the 2142 once, didn't like it, abandonned it, now I'm here. Medal of Honor, well, probably the Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is where my real shooter carreer started, but let it be just that way, the new Medal of Honor is not much of my taste. Counter Strike.. well.......... can't say too much. Counter Strike is a plain shooter. 2 teams against each other, no red dots, no scopes (except snipers), etc. Spec Ops, I don't know that one, it's not out yet, and it doesn't interest me that much. BUT Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Reasons to play it (for me at least):
It's on the corner, it'll be out in less than a month, right at the start of the summer so I can play it through the summer (along with everything else, I'm not a hypergamenerd, I will go to basketball ground and play in the burning sun, but THAT IS OFF-TOPIC).
It is an awesome tactical TPS (important, because there aren't many good TPS games, this isn't a good one either, this is awesome!). The developers made a good job on this, I can't wait to see what PC in-game looks like and can't wait to know how it feels like.
It has a cool customization menu. You can build up to 2 million different weapons as I recall it, that is amazing and the weapon base probably will expand.
The Ghost Recon Network is such a great idea, good job on that, I think the developers have put much effort into this game.
Keys that You could find across places to unlock weapons for the actual game. (This is just a mini-game that exists outside the game, but it is kinda cool that they think about these small entertaining stuffs for us to make the waiting more fun and rewarding too).
Improved visual settings like DX 11, yeah I'm a noob who likes good looking games, punish me for that, but I do care about how the graphics of the game I play look.
The campagin itself and the co-op mode implemented.
Cover system. This is one of the bigger reasons, I just can't tell how much I like this in the game.
Tactical camo. I'm always a recon, scout, thief, assassin, infiltrator, spy, etc. anything that is related to stealth and sneaking. This camo is just something that is for me.
Objective based tactical team oriented multiplayer. This makes the game more intense. It requires teamwork so You can't just go around the map like a lone wolf, cause You probably die. Of course sometimes a Scout needs to go ahead and check if the area is safe or get intel, etc.
I'm pretty sure there's more but these are the major ones I can think of right now.
Well there are a few issues to mention on the "why not to play list" if You are interested:
Matchmaking. I can live with that.
Camo can't be toggled, it toggles itself. I can get used to it.
Lack of information on PC, while we are so close to release. Yeah, annoying, but I believe that the devs are not playing poker instead of doing their job, I'm pretty sure if we get some information that will be a huge announcement so stay tuned, I'm sure after the release of the console version we won't have to wait too much to get some info on the PC version.
Well, I hope I explained why Ghost Recon: Future Soldier worths getting (FOR ME AT LEAST).
(PS.: Don't be too rude with Ubisoft, just imagine if You were in the dev team and get all the flaming while You work Your *** off. You would be upset too. Just praise the Developers, because they decided to make the game for PC as well.)
Best wishes,
Sinful
Mee too. When I saw the first gameplay in '10 on the E3, I fell in love. This is the first game actually that I can feel myself an elite soldier, while I (will) playing. You truly part of the Ghost Team, finally your character is speeks to the others (for example when we/he kill an enemy). Honestly in GRAW 2 was annoying when your team mates asked for orders, ofcourse you have been in a huge firefigh.
I would choose COD4 (or anything else from that time period backwards) because they had true LAN support.
battlefield was the only and still is the only game where u can actively find ppl playing all modes. Ghost recon scares me that any mode other than tdm won't be popular...

Well I'm glad I can see someone who still looks at the bright side of the things about the game. I'll definitely look forward to see the game and even You in the game.
By the way I'm hungarian too, so we could even understand each other really easily, I jsut keep english talk on the official forums and I think this should be left this way. I don't want to make the Forum Managers angry, because we are talking in a foreign language on the official English forums.
But then again, nice to see someone whose playstyle is similar to mine!
Ghosts! Prepare Yourselves for June 15th, we will get that intel!
Best wishes,

Here is the bright side.... I played the Beta and the graphics and gameplay look great. If you want the game to play single player......you will get your moneys worth.........Peer to Peer hosting on multiplayer will in my opinion weaken the game and it won't last long in the multi world.
At least, I'm trying. The Ubisoft usually made good ports, and in this case, they didn't call it port, so we can hope the best. And they get the basics from the console game, so they can't fail.
This means, we will can play thogether, like a true Ghost. Invisible, silent, and fast.![]()
Definitely looking forward to it while still playing BF3 hehehe. I think the multiplayer gameplay would be very different between GRFS and BF3 to the extent that they feel like different genres already so I won't be choosing between them but rather have fun with them both, one being a third person team specops game and the other being a first person grunt shootout. Totally different both great!
