    Unhappy HAWX 2 Steam

    Hi,
I bought the Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 game for PC on the Steam Store and I downloaded it. When I started the game appears a error on the screen with the following message:

"Ubisoft Game Launcher: Error Code 1"

Then I press "accept" (I only have this option) and appear a black window and the game doesn't run.

My PC have all the minimum requirements to run the game.

    Anyone can help me?

    Thank's.

    Hello Hctr52

To resolve this issue, you may need to manually install the GameLauncher software, which handles the online authentication in the game. Please note that this software MUST be installed to play the game, and cannot be uninstalled or disabled.

First, you will need to uninstall the "Ubisoft Game Launcher" software from the 'Add/Remove Programs' (Windows XP) / 'Installed Programs' (Windows Vista and 7) icon in your computer's control panel. It's possible that the "Ubisoft Game Launcher" software will not be listed if you have already uninstalled it, or the game. If so, you can skip this step.

After uninstalling the software, you will need to manually delete any leftover files in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher (32-bit versions of Windows) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher (64-bit versions of Windows). Please do not skip this step, it is very important.

Once you have manually deleted the files left in that folder, you can reinstall the GameLauncher software from: http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/orbit/lau...rInstaller.exe and then you should be able to start the game.

HAWX 2, when played behind a home router or a firewall, may require special configuration to work properly.

An easy way to make HAWX 2 work behind your router is to setup your gaming PC as the DMZ. To learn about how to setup your gaming PC as the DMZ, check your router's documentation.

If you don't want to set your gaming PC as the DMZ, then you'll have to do some special configuration to your router or firewall to make sure all the game's features work properly.

Here are the ports you'll have to open, or forward:

38967 & 3074 ports for online game data
17889 - for LAN session discovery.

    Hello

Keys for this game can only be activated one time. After the initial activation, the key can never be used again. So, this problem is only caused by one of two things:

    1. If you previously activated the key and are being asked to enter it again because you are reinstalling the game, you are simply at the wrong login screen. Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ for assistance with getting to the correct login screen, where you can enter your Uplay account name and password:

    http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/answ...ail/a_id/15039

    - If you still receive this error message after entering your Uplay account name and password, most likely you are logging in with the wrong account. Unfortunately, we cannot give account information out over the web for security reasons, so you will need to contact us by phone at (919) 460-9778 between 9am and 9pm EST. One of our representatives will be able to verify the correct account information for you.

    2. If you purchased the game used or from an unauthorized retailer like eBay, the key most likely has already been used by another person. If this is the case, you will need to return the game to the retailer and exchange it for a new copy or ask for a refund.

I'm sorry, but this does not work me. I still get "Hawx2.exe has stopped working" when I try to launch.
