I know it's called "Rocksmith", but I would love to have some county songs in the game. Get some Keith Urban or something. Believe it or not, there are a lot of electric guitars used in country music.

Brad Paisley, Johnny Hiland, Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell... You got that right, Nick
I would no doubt buy a country music version of RS, but it is country music, and I don't see that in a game called "Rock"smith.
I repeat I would buy Countrysmith. Maybe they could just call it Woodshed.
LOL! Or Countrycrock, then they could get in a legal dispute with the margarine maker.
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

I'd be interested to see some sample youtube video links of the kind of country music people woould like to see. I'm having horrific visions of warblings with unorthodox grammar about faithful animals and unfaithful spouses

I ain't got no idea what I'd want. I don't listen to country music. I appreciate it, and would like to learn some. That is all I know.
My step dad used to have country playin' around the pool, back before he passed. I haven't kept up since then.
Oh, and way back before college and marriage, when I used to work in the oilfield, we'd go out boot scootin'. Those were the only bars around our little podunk OK town. I don't miss that much, but those local country bands sure could pick the geetar.

Country music would be a nice change of pace. And I think the outcry from heavy metal/death metal/nu-metal fans would be hilarious!
When this came up before I was thinking "Blacksmith" had a sort of appropriate rustic feel to it, but somehow I suspect there would be confusing connotations associated with that one.
place holder, Kinch. I'll get back to you this evening.
