Monetization hasn't been finalized yet and was not available in the beta phase that just ended, but do know that the Ghost Coins' value is higher than RP - so 1 GC does not equal 1 RP. Armor inserts priced at 700RP were around 150GC, if I remember correctly.

There are two currency types in the game. Requisition Points (RP) which you earn just by playing the game and completing daily missions and events, and then there's Ghost Coins (GC) which you buy with real money.

The top-end cosmetic head pieces were 30,000 RP. The GC cost was significantly less since GC is worth more than RP.

GC = Gold
RP = Silver.

Guess who's throwing down $100? Coming from cash shops that are normally 1curr/penny or 1curr/more than one penny, this is DELICIOUS!

PS, for reference:

The Final Tier Weapons (F2000, Dragunov, Superauto Shotty, P90, etc.) were worth 2700 GC. I was under the impression that it was 1-1, which meant the weapons were $27 (ouch). Now that we see the $100 rate is 27K, the weapon cost when purchasing at max GC is a cool $10.

IIRC, so were all the 40K hats being 2700 GC. Meaning $10 hats if you wanted to look snazzy, though I'll probably only buy the hats with RP.

For reference, I have spent approximately $400 on an MMO that was "free to play" that I am no longer willing to play due to some "issues" the GMs have. $100 for every Tier 10 gun in the game seems pretty decent.

If everyone's recollections of the GC prices are correct, those prices seem fair to me. I'll definitely be shelling out some dough, if for no other reason than to show my support to the devs!
