I think in this case it actually might not be cut content from the game, but as the game was pushed back from it's original release date this year, the extra content is just being released on time while they did who knows what to the retail release of the game. (Besides avoid the release date of ME3 and stuff.)
What difference does it make if the DLC was developed the same time as the game and taken out/hidden for release as DLC after the game has arrived or not?!? The developers can and will do whatever the hell they like. Its already a good retail release package and even better if you buy the signature edition.
For 800 points you get 3 MP maps, 1 Guerrilla map, 6 weapons, headgear....far better than any other game has to offer in terms of value for money. But no there's always someone who has to find fault or think they are getting the sharp end of the stick, or its a bloody conspiracy.
Do something more constructive but don't complain, just don't fracking buy it!!!
