Hey there. I'm Morta.

So I know I've brought up the subject of music before here on this forum, and a lot of people frankly said they didn't even want a soundtrack because they'd turn it off anyway for the sake of immersion. I guess that's okay, your opinion and you're entitled to it.

But, how about the possibility of HDD music being played during singleplayer explore mode?

Now before I get jumped on and attacked for such an outrageous request, let me say something: if you don't like it, don't use it. That's been a nice principle in gaming for decades now, be it the sniper rifles and rockets in Halo, to the nube tubes in MW2. You don't have to use it if you don't want to.

And I don't know about you guys, but I would LOVE to listen to some Bob Marley as I blow the crap out of vicious mercs on my remote island!

On PC is easily done with a playlist running in background but actually if you really want some, better use the dynamic music from the game itself

Well yeah, but I'm on PS3. :P I have no background apps running.

Actually i would prefer a film score-like soundtrack for the game, at least for its main storyline.

I think they should go with intense house/ electro style music, possibly dubstep for the hardcore fighting moments. and then some film-like music for the rest like Cevys was saying.

I personally loved the Far Cry 2 music especially the intro theme, but for this game some house-electronic-orchestra stuff would be awesome, something like;

but obviously not this one especifically because already belongs to Borderlands 2.

There can't be music that overlaps sound effects, especially gun fire

that's why they should compress the music when gun fire is happening (Like syndicate did, it made the boss fights and such amazing.), So the musics not too overpowering during tense situations.
