For such an "easy" song, I find this particular song to be overly difficult to memorize!

Well, I think I'm done grinding on this arrangement. Happy to get 108K and a MM run of 191K. Still finding ways to flub-up the pre-choruses every time.

I'll spend the rest of the week on the Combo version of this song, because the pre-choruses have barre chords, and I really need to work on those. Also the solo has a lot of hammer-ons & pull-offs I need to work on too. Currently sitting at 91K on Combo so hopefully can get up over 100K this week.

I think this will be my only entry this week. I like some of the verse things but that pre-chorus just feels wrong. I don't like this song well enough to try to master mode it. But the verse has some good things going on - I like the low E to high E transitions in a couple places in particular.

I also don't want to try to play ahead of the beat to get the groove bonuses, so I'm only really getting sustain and bend bonuses at this point with any reliability.

Well it looks like my campaign is over for this week. From what I have read on the Internet, my PS3 has blinking red light syndrome or some other such tedious crap. I'm not all that bothered as I have relatively recent backups etc. Will give it a few days of 'rest' before trying it again, hopefully for a final backup .

Man that blows. IIRC you said once the PC edition of RS is available you're gonna ditch the PS3 anyway, but now this leaves you without RS until then...unless you find a way to fix the red light of death. I read something about replacing the hard drive and/or replacing the ceramic thermal paste, but really not too sure if that will fix yours.

Updated my score.

I got my NMM up to 104K, and added a 189K MM run. I ain't gonna threaten the big score guys, but I'd like to get over 200K.

Also I want to drag out my old Sears SIlvertone guitar, and do a video of this song, with it. That should be fun!
