I'm sure I'm not the only person that had this issue. I've herd this happen several times over comms.

Example Situation:
I'm firing my gun at an enemy, I quickly hit "f" for my charge then continue firing, then I die instantly.

Is there a self-destruct button I'm pushing? This happens numerous times ever since I started beta.
Anyone else on the forums is experiencing this random death ingame?

Hi r0hhh,

When you die, what does the kill/death indicator say you died from, if anything, or does it simply come up as suicide? And do you ever fraps your games (or use a free alt to fraps)? I was just wondering if that could be caught on video to then forward on to the devs. Have you noticed this on particular maps in particular areas of said map? I know getting some details can be difficult especially in a heated match with a lot of back and forth action but if this does happen again, please try to get all the info down about situation as possible (map, location on map, whatever may be relevant) and send in a support ticket.

I don't THINK the "F" button is a self destruct button but I DO seem to die an awfully lot when using abilities, however I chalk that up to sneaky opposition that enjoys killing me during abilities too much :P

Hopefully you do not encounter self-destruction in the next beta phase!

If you allow your ability to overcharge it will overload, backfire, and deal damage to you. In the case of Aegis it deals a lot of damage, whereas Blackout deals approximately half damage but gives you the added slap of blacking yourself out; so you become stunned and get a nicely garbled screen.

Pay attention to the device activation area. Once that box completely fills with red your ability is going to overload and zap you where it doesn't feel good.
